Missouri has the highest in state tuition in the country, 16k a year counting room and board. The general view of education in America is that its not expensive enough. I know a lot of people who if they got their way, would have public school for in-state kids the same as private. So you're looking at 30k a year eventually. Those people need to be purged from society. then again public education is the anti-christ to a lot of people. ugh I don't need to be talking about this when its freaking easter. If I'm able to get an EU passport, I'm done with the states for good. I can't take this crap. Although unless you're a football player or basketball player that the university can make money off you, you're not getting in. lol 42% acceptance rate. Yeah, those rebate cheques we got a few years ago from King Ralph were nice (I got my 360 with mine) but now I kinda wish he just put all that money towards lowering tuition. Even 10k a year is insane and paying off student loans sucks. the only forward looking conservatives live in Denmark and Sweden. The rest are "back to the stone age!" I thought this was well known by now. lol I passed up a life of state of washington politics and law, (didn't want to be miserable for the rest of my life) was going to go to this university in the Seattle area that is famous for turning out politicians. 30k a year. 120k in debt. *sigh* oh well. The Messiah of British Columbia next act is tuition rates. with my place getting university status, along with Fraser Valley and Kwantlen. Its not how low will they stay but how high will they go! Florida residents pay about half of that. Poor schooling at the lower levels is a big reason for college being so expensive here. Colleges have to pump tons of money into remedial programs because students can barely read and do math. On top of that, a good percentage of students who take those remedial classes end up dropping out and that money is basically wasted.
