Strummerman
As for that 50 goal scorer, how bout Danny Grant? That makes 3 with Mickey Redmond and John Leclair.

Hmm, he did get 50 goals ONCE with Detroit, but it was 6 years after getting traded by Montreal to Minnesota. But nice find there.
Prime Minister Koivu
I'm not in line to ask but we need a question! Which Quebec born player has the most hits this season? Prime Minister Koivu
Surely Wayne Greztky scored 50? I need two more! LOL Selanne and Bossy? Maybe Malakov scored 50? when the Russians came into the league for the first time. the guy was on fire!
Mont Royale
Does Gretzky count? He was absorbed into the NHL via the WHA... I don't think he was considered a rookie (not for rookie of the year honours, at least).

Strummerman
Actually on the same slant like the 50 goal question- which players came to the canadians after having scored 50 goals for a previous team. I can name at least 5 players- an obvious one cause he scored 50 with the canadians as well was Pierre Larouche. However, I know of 4 more players that scored 50 in a season before they joined the habs Edited January 28, 2006 by Strummerman
KoZed
1- Larouche 2- Mark Recchi 3- Pierre Turgeon 4- Gary Leeman 5- Brian Bellows Edited January 28, 2006 by KoZed

KoZed
Keeping with the 50-goals trend: Guy Lafleur scored over 50 goals in a season 6 times. In his first two 50-goals seasons, Lafleur scored his 50th goal on the same goalie (the same goalie allowed Lafleur's 50th goal in 74-75, and his 50th goal in 75-76). Who is that goaltender?
