jetsniper
Thats it? A 3rd? Man, wish P.L jumped on that. Nieminen was awesome back in 2001.
jetsniper
It's a 1st rounder and a 3rd rounder if they re-sign him. Way, way too much but it's still an improvement over what they have now. A 1st would've been good for Cujo or maybe even Belfour. But not Roloson.
TheBigRedC
Nothing major, but... Leafs acquire Richardson from Columbus http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=157703&hubname= Also, the Sharks acquire Neiminen from the Rangers http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=157706&hubname= Once again, the laffs are dealing pick for very old veterans. Yes, later picks, but Richardson is a near uselesss player who is 36. Good players ( very rarely) can be found in the later picks. Look at Robitaille taken 200-something and also Kosty jr, who was taken in the later rounds and is ripping up the CHL in his first season. Prime Minister Koivu
Good trade for NY
jetsniper
Good trade for both teams, Tambellini and Grebeshkov should both be good NHLers at the least and Parrish and Sopel should help out the Kings. Now my attention turns to Dallas Drake. And Brendan Witt, still. Not much has changed, 2 years ago, Witt was rumoured to go to Colorado. It's still here. TheBigRedC
I think LA over-paid, REALLY over paid. Grebs (plays on my HWL team ) is rated very highly. The Hockey News rated him 26th well Tambs is rated in the 40's. Remeber, that this is out of 100's of prospects. IMO, he (Grebs) will be a solid young D-man, and he's still young. Same goes for Tambellini, who will be a good player, though not as good for Grebs. In return LA gets a veteran, so-so D-Man and a ok, goal scoring 2nd liner. IMO NYI really win big. MAK
I think it's a great move for both teams. the isles got 2 former 1st round picks
smon
Sensational move for both teams. The Nieminen pickup was slick by Wilson.
BTH
The Leafs never learn. They're pushing for the playoffs. Wow - leadership. They get another slow and old D-man to their team and they lose youth. The picks might only be mid-picks but a good scouting system can find gems in the 4th rounds and since the Leafs'll miss the playoffs and Richardson isn't what they need anyway so it's like they're trading their picks for nothing. JFJ is a dumbass.
CoRvInA
Watching the Ovech vs the Kid game talk about a showcase game this is where everyone will play like its 7th game in case they get eyed on for a trade!
dark_faerie87
Edmonton and Bosotn lose today. Bosotn because they picked up Czwerkawski and Edmonton because they paid way too much for a marginal starter. Roloson is worth maybe a 3rd rounder. It's hard to believe they'd part with a 1st rounde and another pick. I disagree. Boston only picked up the Polish Prince to piss off the laffs. He won't play a single game for them and will force the laffs to make ANOTHER trade, thus weakening them for the future and improving Boston's future chances along with the rest of the division. Way to take one for the team (er, division) guys!
Peter Puck
TSN is reporting that the LEAFS have traded Ken Klee to New Jersey. No report on who for. This explains getting Richardson.
BTH
TSN is reporting that the LEAFS have traded Ken Klee to New Jersey. No report on who for. This explains getting Richardson. Ken Klee was moved for Alexander Suglobov. This one is better for the Leafs as they dump a useless D for a decent prospect.
Peter Puck
Watching the Ovech vs the Kid game talk about a showcase game this is where everyone will play like its 7th game in case they get eyed on for a trade! Not exactly. Caron gave up a goal when Washington flipped the puck ouf of their own zone during a penalty kill. The puck bounced a couple of times and slowly went our of Caron's reach as he casually slid over to grab the puck.
