JMMR
I believe this game may be difficult for the Canadiens, Bonk will have to shut down Jagr/Straka. Hopefully the Canadiens can score more than a goal. GO HABS GO GET #500 and a few more Koivu.

gohabsgo252006
If anyone saw the article in the gazette about the flu today it actually eases my mind a bit that the team was sick against washington. The article quotes higgins as saying that players were puking in between periods and on the plane home. Nobody likes excuses but it's nice to have one. Can't wait for this game, it's going to be awesome. Hope Lats and Lappy step up. Go Habs Go
Chips
According to TSN 5-6 players were suffering from the flu during that last outing in Washington and many are still under the weather; "defencemen Sheldon Souray, Craig Rivet and Mike Komisarek and forwards Michael Ryder and Garth Murray..." from tsn. There could be more on the mend! Laps and Gabs are up to fill in center; Hope Laps has recovered from his bout with the flu and is back to his normal self; I'm not expecting to win this one and would just enjoy watching a game were we are able to compete; This one is on CBC and RDS; Would be nice for a few healthy habs to step up and take this game on their shoulders. GO HABS GO!

sajc
Anybody have updated what line-up is going to be against the Rangers? Sounds like Latendresse and koivu are definitely not playing. Sounds like rest are going to play even if there are still sick. Edited January 6, 2007 by sajc
MAK
Anybody have updated what line-up is going to be against the Rangers? with all those lads being sick, It's going to be a game time decision. why no use the sick players as weapons ??, their job woulb to kiss opponents or to drink from their bottles of gatorade !! :puke:
hat trick
CKAC says Koivu and Latendresse missed the mourning skate practice and stayed home for the day guess Koivu will have to wait for his 500th point
