Habs at Wings 7:30 Nov, 30 2017

11-12-3 vs 10-10-5 and teams are tied for 25th place.

No Price tonight, no Drouin and no Weber.

Will Carr play and if so, will he have any impact, I like his grit.

Too bad the Habs d lacks any grit and hope Niemi dosent get cross check to head treatment.

Go Habs Go

No Price Drouin and Weber is a pretty massive dent. Our top line C, top D man, and all star goalie :tigi:

Hopefully last night was the start of a patented Pacioretty point streak.

Price is playing.

I mean, I get it... but I'm against it.

Which means Jacob de la Rose is moved up with Byron and Galchenyuk.  Oh boy.

More like Byron and Galchenyuk have moved down to de la Rose. Yeesh, that's rough.

I don’t get why MB always adds lost of depth on D but never adds any upfront? When we get injuries to key players we become a AHL team.

Byron needs to get better at his two on ones....

So do the 6 other players who have had one on either side ...

Make that 7

Make that 8 (6-7 for Detroit) and I'm getting frustrated here....

Price is dominating

To be fair, he had De La Rose with him, so it was basically a 1 on 1.

Detroit's powerplay is impressive.

2-1 Wings after one.

This probably sounds crazy but Price's play is concerning me.  Yes, he has stopped quite a few Grade 'A' chances but his puck tracking has been terrible and he has put himself out of position a few times already.  This is more of what he was like at the beginning of the season.

I'm a bit surprised that Mete is in.  Considering they're on a back-to-back, putting in a player that Julien clearly has no confidence in means everyone else is going to have to play major minutes.  They'd have been better going with 7/11 if they wanted to play Mete and give him his 6-7 minutes.

Hudon! 2-2.

A very Gallagher/Hudon kind of goal.

I believe this is the first time this year we've scored two goals in less than 1 minute! A nice change!

Pacioretty - Danault - Shaw is a line that I did not think would work, but gosh darnit it does and should not be broken up (except in the case of injury.)

Well.. I was a little pessimistic there for a bit... Detroit looked smooth and powerful.. and all over us..

Yet we stagger back. God..we rely on Price so totally..

How are you guys finding Shlemko?
