If we locked up AK for 3.25 I'll be very happy. I had hoped for a longer term contract but I'll settle for a reasonably priced contract for a potential superstar.

Thank god that is over... not a bad payout, and a decent length

What else does he have going today?

Lets see...

Huselius to Pittsburgh

Miettinen to Buffalo

Weight to Islanders

Those are the only things with E3 and higher, he appears to be playing it safe. Tucker is supposedly going to sign with someone very soon too.

His e2 stuff is things like Spezza being traded to Edmonton.

Toronto has signed Jeff Finger to a 4 year deal worth 3.5 mil a year.

O_O

I wanted to keep him but NOT at that price.

EDIT: Raycroft deal is for 800k, I like it.

That's still like $1 for every goal he allows

You have seen him play right? :P

You mean behind a defence where Bryan McCabe and Pavel Kubina are the best they have to offer? Yeah, I have.

EDIT: Cory Stillman: 10.6 over 3 years in Florida.

Per TSN - Cristobal is going to Chicago. Good situation for him and I'll get to see him a bunch this coming year. Bon Chance Cristo!

guess that means the Bullin wall is on his way out ?

I've been noticing a pronounced difference in the speed with which the salary terms of contracts are being disclosed based on team. Is it no longer the policy of all teams to not disclose salaries or are some agents leaking and some aren't or what?

Every single player agency shares the dollar amount of deals so the "next guy" has something to go off of.

Are there even any starting goaltending positions open any more?

Tampa seems to have loaded up, I'm not sure Kolzig is the answer.

I think the habs have 14 mill left,

Gorges around a 800k-1mill

Halak 8oo-900k

I am missing one more RFA i'm sure.

But they'll have money to make a Rolston or Sundin move
