JoeLassister
Here is the lineup for tonight: Marc Denis and Cédrick Desjardins will be the goalies. Max Pac - Robert Lang - Guillaume Latendresse Steve Bégin - Yanick Lehoux - Sergei Kostitsyn Olivier Latendresse - Kyle Chipchura- Mathieu Dandenault Ryan Russell - Mike Glumac - Ryan White (not sure about the positions on the 4th...) Francis Bouillon - Mike Komisarek Josh Gorges - Chad Anderson Pavel Valentenko - Shawn Belle This lineup sucks, BUT could easily beat the Leafs Edited September 27, 2008 by JoeLassister

JoeLassister
I'm happy about the lineup !! it means I'll probably see a better one tomorrow !! DAMN RIGHT. I'll be there as well in the Saputo section with my gf's sisters (her mother had twins sisters with another man 18 years later).

Max Pac is given load of ice time always with good players. D'agostini is starting to gain interest. Sergei timing was off so he get's to play. A nice little gift would have been to combine the Latendresse. What i don't like : defensive pairing. Cube-Gorges should play together, the real duo's should play together. Chad Anderson a waste of space and time. I would prefer if they showcase Dandenault on defense.
redondo
I don't see a point of giving a spot to a guy like Mike Glumac, even in preseason, when he's obviously a Hamilton acquisition. When are the first cuts going to happen?
KoZed
Habs coaching staff are certainly giving all the kids & Hamilton hopeful a chance to show their stuff.
MAK
Habs coaching staff are certainly giving all the kids & Hamilton hopeful a chance to show their stuff. I think its more about resting the guys for the real season.
JMMR
D'ago out. Gui in.
MMPL
Cuts should be made soon. We have to get the main guys in shape and ready to go. They will have a 5 day rest after our last preseaon game. Now is the time for them to shine. Cut everyone except MacPac, Chips, Stewart, Diago, Maxwell, Weber, Subban, Valentanko, and Denis. I don't mind Guy playing his young guys, but I think he has to realize some are not ready.

MAK
When is Big Georges playing my guess is oct 10th
MMPL
my guess is oct 10th Dumb move if it is precautionary. Get at least get 1 preseason game in, or he'll be out of shape, mentally too. Edited September 27, 2008 by MMPL
chief_balthor
I'll be at the game tonight... I hope the guys can at least keep it close. Ottawa will probably have their full lineup as they are leaving for Sweden tomorrow.
Partisan
I kinda agree this lineup looks very weak. I especially think the defense is really problematic, especially since there isnt many as offensive potential as yesterday's team. oh well it's a good test to see what the potential call up during the year will do. I'm pretty sure Ottawa will take it up a notch from last night...probably introducing more veterans into their line up.

gelu88
The game is on TSN2 (channel 403 on Bell) As for as i'm concerned, this is the Ottawa Senators Vs the Hamilton Bulldogs, Out of the 22 players dressed, only 7 are going to be playing next week (i don't know about later on, but i doubt Patches or Chipchura will be here next week.) Lang, Latendresse, Kostitsyn, Dandenault Bouillon, Komisarek and Gorges On the other hand, Ottawa is playing their whole lineup, and the play is pretty even with us even killing a 5 on 3, which makes me really confident about our situation this year Edited September 28, 2008 by gelu88
mineral
3-1 now for Ottawa 2 quick goals at the end of the 2nd by Neil and Alfredsson.
Sir_Boagalott
I finally managed to get TSN 2. Not sure why TSN 2 wasnt showing up at first but I finally managed to get it. w0w, I have never seen a break away pass split 2 defenseman like that before on Alfredssons goal. Thats was absolutely brutal. Both Habs D were right there but didnt even attempt to intercept the pass and both just watched it go by them to Alfredsson who was already far behind them. Some of the young players defenitely look good but it was just a matter of time before the Habs luck ran out. The Sens are outplaying them and the score is finally showing it. However the game isnt over yet and it will be interesting to see the resolve of the young Habs team tonight.
Partisan
well this was definitely CH plan C line up...however in the lost, we did see a few interesting and ceratinly see that some of the recruits need some more time in AHL club. I did like pacioretty again.
MMPL
You guys like the announcing of Ferraro?
Dutch_Habs_Fan
I think this was the final time all the youngsters were playing. Guy knew Ottawa was agitated with the loss, and he wanted to see which rookie would stand his ground...and make a decission on that. But to see our youngsters keep it close with a almost complete Ottawa line-up makes you proud! We have a bright future..
