ForumGhost
What is the one thing we know about the playoffs? Anything can happen. True, but you can't seriously expect Florida to make it through 2 rounds. Even one would be a stretch. They would have been much better of getting a bunch of pick and/or prospects to help them rebuild. They have nothing else of trade value, so they basically have to start from the ground up with no outside help. It will be many many years before Florida will be able to contend. Just a guy who was behind Irving in the system so no need for Calgary to keep him. Dalhabs
Hope we can avoid the flyers in the first.. even if we were to eliminate them they would give us enough minor injuries to last to next season.

Don't underestimate the importance of that team making the playoffs. Especially in a non-hockey market, you gotta make the playoffs to stay alive. A loser in Canada still sells out a lot of the time. A loser in Florida bleeds money. Plus, it's extra revenue. Maybe a few playoff games gives them enough money to pay JayBo to stay.

Pylon!)

What do you think Florida has been doing for the last 6-7 years? The pieces are finally starting to come together in Florida, they're a team on the upswing. Fanpuck33
I'm surprised Kings parted with O'Sullivan. He was tough to sign as an RFA and hasn't gotten along with the coaching staff. O'Sullivan apparently headed to EDM, not CAR. Justin Williams possibly to LA.
