dlbalr
Chat room now open: http://www.habsworld.net/article.php?id=1841 We're 6 hours from the first game of the year and there's no GDT? I'm disappointed, I must say. Expected lines for the Habs tonight: Cammalleri - Gomez - A. Kostitsyn Latendresse - Lapierre - D'Agostini Johansson - Trotter - Stewart Darche - Desharnais - White Markov - Gorges Spacek - O'Byrne Benoit - Subban Price Sanford For Florida, going off of who I'm reading might play, here's what the lines could look like: Note: There are conflicting reports on who's playing and who isn't; some of these guys might not be in). Booth - Weiss - Horton Olesz - Tarnasky - Repik McArdle - Kreps - Dadonov Mink - Campbell - Duco Ballard - Allen Koistinen - Ellerby Seidenberg - Skoula Clemmensen Salak TV: RIS, live segments only Radio: CJAD, CKAC Puck drops at 7:30, feels nice to say Go Habs Go! Depending on who's online at game time, I may put a chatroom up either here or on the main site - if you're going to be there and want a room opened up, post so here, I'll be back from school around game time. saskhab
Those lineups are surprisingly NHL caliber for this early in the preseason. I think Florida has about only 5 or 6 players that weren't in the NHL last year (plus their backup who I've never heard of before) while the Habs have 7 that weren't (and one is Mathieu Darche, who has played in the NHL previously). This could be a good game. I'd guess that Martin wants to win this one, too, being his first time behind the bench for the Habs and against his old team. Chris
I don't think he cares if they win, obviously it would be good especially over the old team. More important is the top line, if they show spped, talent and scoring chances i think he'll be thrilled. Solid defense and work ethic is probably second on the list. Price is probably third. I'll add STOP TAKING LAZY PENALTIES.

Chris
I have been conditioned to see lazy penalties in habs games period. Preseason games, regular season games, playoffs. I'll have to work on that, it's a new season and mostly all new players.
saskhab
Tarnasky broke his orbital bone in a fight with Chris Neil, so he's not playing. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?id=11009 Have to scroll a ways down for the Panthers news. The bit on Skoula is old news... he's with the team now.

dlbalr
Scoreless through the first half of the 1st period, Habs are playing well so it sounds. Spacek leading the way in total ice time so far.

dlbalr
I am so happy to hear vertigo back! Gomez pops his first! For whatever reason, Vertigo just sounds nicer to me. Don't forget, the chatroom is open, this is a test run to see if this is something we use at times during the season. End of 1, 1-0 Habs.
