dlbalr
Habs isolated Allen from the team in case he has the mumps. Between that and Subban, we could be seeing another call-up if neither are likely to play tomorrow.

dlbalr
Holy. Mumps? They're calling it a cold when they do mention some sort of specific on the broadcast. Lately, they're just saying he's sick. I don't think it's the mumps though.

habs rule
What causes mumps? A person suffers mumps when infected with the mumps virus. It can be transmitted via respiratory secretions (e.g. saliva) from a person already affected with the condition. When contracting mumps, the virus travels from the respiratory tract to the salivary glands and reproduces, causing the glands to swell. Examples of how it can be spread are: sneezing or coughing using the same cutlery/plates with someone infected sharing food and drink with someone infected kissing someone infected touching their nose or mouth and then passing it onto a surface someone else may touch OK so no more kissing each other guys. We know you are happy you scored the goal but NO KISSING. Maybe that is in soccer ?

It's not too hard to imagine someone spitting on the ice and then have those germs fly up at someone else in a snow shower.
