JMMR
Well technically Gomez is still with the Habs... He's on the payroll, he's taking up cap space... Wait, you did a bet with Joe? Make him photoshop himself tongue-kissing Jiri Tlusty as his avatar. He has already conceded that I have won. In the spirit of the bet I did win, hes not "with the team"

Machine of Loving Grace
Where is Millbury when you need him The Vancouver Canucks are desperate I hear. They just signed AHL failure Cam Barker for defensive depth and they still have a hole at center to fill
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
The Vancouver Canucks are desperate I hear. They just signed AHL failure Cam Barker for defensive depth and they still have a hole at center to fill That's a good call. The Canucks did well in rehabilitating Lapierre and Higgins, both of whom are playing as well as they did in their salad days in Montreal. With Kessler on the shelf, they need secondary scoring. I could see them being interested in principle. Then again, by the time Gomer is bought out, Kessler will presumably be healthy.

The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Too bad they don't have the cap space Vancouver's an interesting team...you can't really bet against them, and their top-4 is excellent, but they are in danger of being a one-line team, which killed them in the playoffs. Kessler is kind of their Markov-equivalent...they guy they absolutely need to have at 100%.

Make him photoshop himself tongue-kissing Jiri Tlusty as his avatar. From what I understand. He's being waived and re-assigned to the minors (save us a roster spot and 900K in cap space) So once that is done, he'll be not on the roster, but taking up cap space. I say JMMR wins the bet on those grounds.
