Pens @ Habs

I'd like to see 26 and 76 back together.

They were last game but it appears they're split up for this one.

Some things to watch out for from Pittsburgh tonight:

- Faceoffs - their rating of 52.9% sits them 2nd in the East

- Powerplay - 25.9% (good for 4th in the league, also 2nd in the East)

- With a goals scored per game average of 3.29, Pittsburgh sits...wait for it...2nd in the East

- They're averaging over 30 shots per game (which isn't 2nd in the East but the Habs allow the fewest shots on goal of any Eastern team)

Other notes:

- Tomas Kaberle turns 35 today

- Brandon Prust is playing career game #300

Habs on their heels for the last 7 or 8 mins.

Someone on Montreal is going to get hurt tonight because of the refs. Emelin got a nasty slash to the head, no call. Gionta got boarded, no call.

To the head?

I missed that.

GF was stoked when Prust scored. She doesn't watch alot of hockey, but made her watch the end of intra-squad game. She loved his shootout attempts giving what kind of player he is and loves how he sticks up for smaller players. Her favorite hockey player. lol

Yeah, coming out of the corner, think it was Dupius, not sure though. Puck was cleared out and he spun around, nailed Emelin in the head with his stick. Worse part was the ref was standing 3 feet from it, no call.

Un lucky on that goal but the Pens controlled that period for the most part.

Will be interesting to see how they start with the PP and what adjustments MT makes.

maxpac looks to be picking up from where he left off last year.

MT needs to play Subban against Crosby. Markov has been beaten too many times by Crosby already.

I would pull Price as well get him ready for Boston.

2 of the goals he should have stopped and its okay hes been a rock all year.

Budaj would be destroyed... We are simply being out played most shifts.

Yes the Pens have the hustle right now but sometimes you change the goalie as an attempt to change the momentum as well.

We're not skating and there's no intensity. While Price may be looking bad, none of the goals are his fault. Bad bounce, bad defensive coverage then 2 screened shots. We need to make something happen on this PP.
