zumpano21
The toughest stretch of our remaining sched could be this week. Lets start with a bang.
Link67
Boy if they smash through this week in successful fashion, the fever with this team will be on like donkey kong.
Commandant
Need to get 5 points this week..... thats the minimum to stay relevant and hang on by a thread.... if they can get 6 or more, we're cooking with gas.
Commandant
Kuemper will NOT play tonight. re-aggravated his injury this morning

If we get 6+ points from the four games, we are in the race, as you say. If we can't get 5 points, we don't deserve to be.

Habsfan89
17-5-3 that's what we need to do the rest of the year to make the playoffs.

I'm hesitant on these big pronouncements of what we have to do the rest of the season... everyone is looking at 98 points as what we need to get in. I'm not convinced, given that 96 is enough to get in for 13 of the last 15 years.

Trizzak
Gallagher's goals feel more like Gallagher goals when he finishes them with snow all over his jersey.

Trizzak
TSN commentary blamed Drouin for that, but I thought Kulak handcuffed the entire team with a horrible play.

Yeah, Kulak bad pass into Drouin's skates. That said, Kulak has been really good of late.
dlbalr
5 forwards on a 5-on-3. Interesting strategy but it looked like they were just running the Weber play with Kovalchuk in Weber's spot. Not enough movement out there. Trizzak
Someone Freaky Friday'd the powerplay and the penalty kill a few games ago. The "powerkill" has reared it's ugly head again...
Commandant
That period was pure shit. Lucky to come out tied.
Trizzak
Habs had a few opportunities to put the Yotes away that period but couldn't even manage a shot on some of them.

They’ll need the same kind of third-period turnaround as against Toronto in order to come out of this with two points.
zumpano21
I feel like Domi needs to celebrate another galchenyuk trade by potting one for the good guys.

dlbalr
If Danault doesn't come back, I'd move Suzuki onto the Tatar line and put Domi with Kovalchuk/Armia. The all-righty second line does not work; I'd almost consider moving Lehkonen up to LW2 and Armia to RW3 (Kovalchuk then goes to his natural position) just to balance it out a little bit.
