I hadn’t realized that, actually. Interesting to think that Galy might in fact be damaged goods, rather than a straightforward flop. Personally I doubt that this is the case, because I never saw him develop the kind of hockey sense needed to be a high-level performer over a consistent period, but still. Its a whole bunch of what ifs with him.... but ultimately I think hindsight now shows that he never got trusted as a C with any other teams and tells us he wasn't a C and his game was never well rounded enough to be good in the NHL.
