Trotz is probably going 'We've got them right where we want them'.

Nice period from the Habs though.  Glad to see Hudon get one.

Yup, Isles have the Habs just where they want them - not again!

Byron's shorthanded goal should put this out of reach.  The Islanders look completely discombobulated out there (not that I'm complaining).

Watching Boychuk skate off the ice in a panic after taking a skate blade to the eye... yeesh.

Hudon has a great shot and played like a 3rd liner

Byron was awesome and Price was solid

Team was day and night

Yeah, once the season is over and no actual pressure to win for anything that matters

It’s well known fact that teams play better when there are out. I also don’t see it as a positive as all it does is hurt our draft lottery odds position it was nice to see hudon play well, but doubt if julien will give him a real shot when it matters.

Not true, team still playing for playoffs. only 7 points behind with 14 games to go.

I do not believe they will make it, but the CH has a no-quit attitude this year.

They played well, that is the fact. Your narrative if yours to enjoy

The Islanders are also a team very much in the playoff race and who need wins.  They didn't come into the game thinking that it was meaningless.  They came in trying to win for their own playoff position.

Nice high scoring game like i asked for. Great to see Price get another win and poor Hudon must be feeling alot better this morning.

Islanders probably came in thinking all they had to do was show up on the ice and they’d win.

We have seen this from the CH a few times this year. When they drive the play they _CAN_ be dominant. And the way Price was gosling yesterday was just beautiful

We have to give credit when credit is due.

They will probably suck again in the next couple of games, but yesterday’s was a good game

90 stitches and plastic surgery.
