TheBigRedC
It's official, after tonight's win by the Washington Capitals over the Atlanta Thrashers, Atlanta is officially out of playoff contention. Habs, along with the Bolts are secure as Atlanta was the last threat. Now the only question is, who are we playing? It will either be Ottawa or Carolina. With Hasek out longer then expected, I hope the for the Sens. Their lack of goaltending will be their demise. In any case, we're going to the show GO :hlogo: GO http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=163022&hubname=
kaos
Who cares, either way there in Trouble....This Habs team is gonna kick some ass
GreggieMcHabfan
The Senators are ripe for the picking. A team as quick as the Habs can really build up some playoff momentum with a first round victory.

MexicanChannel
The past couple of days have been a disappointment, but it doesn't matter anymore!!! And it doesn't matter who we play, each team has its stregnths and each has its weakness. Even though Carolina murdered the Habs in the regular season, Laviolette is a bad playoff coach. Remember when the Islanders made it in '02? The Laffs embarassed them. And some advice for Don Waddell, keep your mouth shut next year, and remember your 5 iron this spring! :hlogo: !!!! JMMR
Was Laviolette the coach of the Isles when the Bolts swept them last season?

Yeah, whether or not it's Laviolette or Bryan Murray, they both will have nightmares about these guys. They'll be tired from sleep depravation. They are going to get DEEP inside their heads. Huckleberry
Oddly, I find myself loving the Caps this a.m. It won't last long, but lets hear it for my second favorite team.
Prime Minister Koivu
Atlanta was up 4-3 for a while and I thought the game was all but over. 6-4 for the Washington Capitals...wooohooo. So, we are in the show. Now I wonder if we get to upset the Canes or the Sens?
BTH
...and then people wonder why I like Ovechkin so much.

Hartley actually pulled him five minutes into the game but then the backup got hurt and he had to put him back in. He allowed 5 goals on something like 25 shots. Luck is a big factor in sports and this is one time where Lady luck was on our side. - Jack
