  1. Hey everyone The latest Habsworld podcast is now online, where we talked a lot about the new Habs GM and many other Canadiens topics. Give it a listen. http://www.habsworld.net/2022/01/habsworld-podcast-episode-87/
  2. Well, Mailloux is off to a strong start with the London Knights. He scored two assists in his first game, and two goals in his second game.
  3. https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/kings-hire-former-canadiens-gm-marc-bergevin-consultant/https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/kings-hire-former-canadiens-gm-marc-bergevin-consultant/ Interesting. At least he's off Montreal's payroll.
  4. Another Habs breakaway (Suzuki) and a slash at the last moment causes Suzuki to flub the shot. No penalty again!? Referees are a joke in this game.
  5. What was that effing ref looking at on the Caufield Breakaway?!
  6. Is it just me, or is the Savard Kulak pairing one of the worst defensive duos the Habs have ever iced? I know the team is decimated by Covid19 but these players are supported to be NHL experienced blueliners.
  7. Hey everyone A new Habsworld podcast is now online. Jonathan Rebelo, Paul Macleod and I had a lot to talk about including Geoff Molson's front office clean out, Marc Bergevin’s regime with the Habs, some potential GM replacements, Alexander Romanov and much more. I hope you'll give us a listen, and rate us through your favourite podcast feeder. http://www.habsworld.net/2021/12/habsworld-podcast-episode-86/ https://habsworld.podomatic.com/enclosure/2021-12-01T10_53_47-08_00.mp3
  8. Clague is an interesting pick up. He was pushed down the King depth chart after Sean Durzi arrived; from what I can tell he was their #8 defenceman not including injured veteran Sean Walker. He's just in his 3rd season as a pro, and spent most of that time developing in the AHL with a few call ups the first two seasons. He's supposed to be very mobile, a good skater, and mindful enough defensively. He's only 6' 00 in size so he will struggle against larger opponents like all small-ish offensive blueliners do. I think this is a good move, since he's a much better pro prospect than Corey Schueneman. I hope this move is not at the expense of Norlinder, as I would like to see him given more of a look with the Habs.
  9. Neech, I agree with you, and said pretty much the same thing in the latest Habsworld podcast (#85).
  10. If Allen is going to miss the next game, for the love of God Bergevin, call up Primeau. Of course Dom will need to start him, and I am not confident he will.
  11. Podcast article URL Hey everyone! The newest Habsworld podcast, episode 85 was recorded this week. Many Habs topics were discussed as well as a few NHL ones. I hope you will give us a listen and share some feedback.
  12. That's accurate, but also very true for nearly every NHL team. Let's see what happens when the Leafs finally get a penalty or more called against them.
  13. Great start for the Dvorak line on the first shift!!
  14. Hey everyone! We recorded a new Habsworld podcast last night. Among the many topics we discussed the Nick Suzuki contract extension, Carey Price entering the Player Assistance program, the Jesperi Kotkaniemi offer sheet saga, along with all of the off-season additions, pre-season moves, and much more. Please give it a listen. I love any feedback, good or bad. Podcast URL
