ShortHanded
Thanks as always Spiderman NL. Are the lines that you posted confirmed??? Where'd you get them? or is this what you think will happen?
nhfarber
this game is approaching on a must win for this team. They need to prove that they can unify as a collective whole, fly in the face of adversity and succeed. Here's hoping they can make something happen, and here's hoping the sit down inspires Rivet to make a defensive stop for once and Samosonov to find a way to get the damn puck in the net. GO HABS GO :hlogo: :hlogo:
habfanstuckinTO
Thanks as always Spiderman NL. Are the lines that you posted confirmed??? Where'd you get them? or is this what you think will happen? I heard that the lineups for tonights game was. Higgins-Koivu-Ryder Kovalev-Plekanec-Latendresse Johnson-Bonk-Sams onov Perezhogin-Lapierre-Streit Rivet is also back in the lineup, while Downey and Niinimaa are out. Huet will be in nets. As reported by R.D.S
habscout
I just added a preview for tonight's game; it's up on the front page now. http://www.habsworld.net/article.php?id=1307 Personally, I'd like to see Carbonneau try the Kovalev-Koivu-Perezhogin line that once worked, at the start of last season; similary, the Latendresse-Lapierre-Streit line deserves more than just a few shifts together too. If he's going to juggle the lines so much, why not try a few combinations that have worked in the past?
Dalhabs
4 straight losses? Isnt even in my vocabulary. Lets start a 3 game winningstreak so we start talking about stanley cup finals again and not about missing the playoffs. GO HABS GO!

I completely forgot about the first line from last season...they were on fire in Oct. but kinda died down (I believe when Kovalev got hurt). I still can't understand why Carbs hasn't tried Bonk as a second line center between Sammy and Kovalev. As much as I like seeing those two seperated, I still think Bonk should've been given a chance with those two. He's a veteran that wouldn't have been intimidated by the two Russians and can play a crash and bang game which is what that line needed. He's also big in front of the net. Add to that, I think Pleks proved he can play regularly on the third line as well. But all in all, I don't think these lines look bad at all.
