Habsfan
Good news, It won't be a Québecois goalie in nets against the Habs. It should make things easier for our boys! I also hope that our boys won't show up to the game in the second period. The first period has been our worst period almost all season. Start the game on time boys! lazy26
I think our chief concern is a sluggish start after so many days off. As exciting as the comebacks wins are, I want to see the Habs dominate from the start. Hopefully the boys aren't looking too far ahead to tomorrow. GO HABS GO!!!! Nah, if it wasn't Mason in goal tonight it would be Norrena. LeClaire is injured, like he always is.

Fanpuck33
are you going to the game ?? What kind of Habs fan wouldn't? I bought tickets the day they came out, knowing full well there was no chance of a sellout. Of course, that bit me in the ass, because I later found a deal on slightly better tickets for the same price. I'd just sell my original tickets, but I probably wouldn't be able to sell them for even face value.
MAK
JAKE Voracek !!?? I love how English media always anglicize a foreign player' name to make him sound more american !! come on , how hard is it to say Jakub ?? I expect Latendresse to have one of his better games this year agains his good friend Brassard he and kostitsyn haven't been up to par so far this year. I love how English media always anglicize a foreign player' name to make him sound more american !! come on , how hard is it to say Jakub ?? Well, the article does mention that he's tried real hard to adapt to North American culture, maybe he's told people to call him that. Plus, coaches can probably yell "Jake" louder than "Jakub," haha. Then again, if he preferred to be called "Jake," then the TV announcers would probably be calling him that, but they don't.

You'll open a big can of worms on this board with a statement like that... Latendresse has 7 points in 10 games... therefore he's been nothing short than phenomenal... Easy Ryder
Fun but true. Price sits when the habs face the famous R.J Umberger.

Fanpuck33
I guess these are your own pictures from Halak's debut, Fanpuck ?? Indeed. I wish I still had my old camera that was stolen, it took better pictures from distance. I bought the one I have because it was the only one in its price range that had 5x zoom. Unfortunately, that's worthless since it sucks at taking in light.
habscout
I wouldn't necessarily blame the nickname on the "English media". In many cases, the older players on a team give nicknames to the younger ones, as a sign of acceptance. Not long afterwards, the media pick up the nicknames and use them. JAKE Voracek !!?? JoeLassister
Let's see if Plek and Kovy will keep on their last game's roll. The key is to lock down Brassard and Nash.

Habsfan
######ing umberger! This guy really has the touch whenever he plays against the habs. Too bad. Our boys completely dominated the first 5:30 of the game, they slowed down for one minute, and they get scored on! That was a weak goal by Halak. He gave up a big fat juicy reboud right in front of his net, and he was weak on the second shot!!
