When I take a look at the first goal of this video, I tell myself "No matter how good he is on PK, I don't want Gill back on this team."

I'm pretty confident that we can get a dman who can achieve at least 3/4 of what he does on the PK and 8/4 of his play at 5 on 5.

You have no problem with Subban allowing Dubinsky to have the front of the net when he could have aggressively played him to his backhand

leaving Auld with a much stronger angle on the forced backhand?

Any player can be made to look bad on any goal, the exact same play happened 5 minutes later with Plekanec being cut off in the middle and

being forced to shovel a harmless backhand into Lundqvist's pads.

Gill becomes the scapegoat on a play that could have been recovered by a smart defensive play by PK.

PK covered nobody. Not Dubinsky, not the forward coming in for the rebound.

I didn't see much chance for PK to get in the play, nor was Gil that bad. Our guys blow by D on the pivot too. It happens. You look at any goal, for or against, and you will find mistakes.

I like you are watching a Terrible Spacek, so I immediately assume he is being played 20 min...

I just now check the box score.... as of 52min in game he has played around 11 min!

Quickly skimming the stats, Spacek with just under 12 minutes of ice time, that caught me off guard a bit, thought he played more than that. Desharnais struggled on the draw, only 1/5.

I believe I know the one Habsy means - one of the absolute worst attempts to clear the zone this season, a pass from behind the red line right across the front Price's crease and onto the stick of a Ranger. It was so inept it defied belief. That was served up by Wisniewksi.

A bad 3rd period, but hey, that's what all-star goalies are for! If it hadn't been for Lunqvist we could have had five or six, so it evens out, and I'll take it.
