brobin Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Interesting,,,, two centres out there with 3 goals, 8 assists for 11 points.... Saku Koivu and Mike Riberio.... Quote
dlbalr Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 Some exciting news, the Habs might actually be able to win some faceoffs tonight. Buffalo is ranked dead last in the NHL (by a considerable margin at that) with a success rate of 41.3%. By comparison, Montreal sits 25th at 47.3% (Boston is first at 59.4%). While I was looking at the team stats, I also noticed that Buffalo allows the most shots on goal for any Eastern Conference team (32.9 per game). The Habs are 3rd in the East at 27.2. Quote
hab29RETIRED Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Interesting,,,, two centres out there with 3 goals, 8 assists for 11 points.... Saku Koivu and Mike Riberio.... yep. Koivu was really washed up when Gainey decided not to resign him and replace him with Gomer Pyle. any word yet if Price is starting, or if we are going to go with Budaj? Quote
dlbalr Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 any word yet if Price is starting, or if we are going to go with Budaj? Not yet, the Habs are supposed to say who gets the nod sometime this afternoon though. Quote
Lovett's Magnatones Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Looking for a good game against the perennially overrated Buffalo. Quote

That's what I get for copy-pasting the d-men from bar's last GDT. He is playing. White in for Moen as well. Quote

I'm glad that Therrien is sitting Moen. That would have been unthinkable under Martin. I guess he has no comromising photos of Therrien yet Quote

I guess he has no comromising photos of Therrien yet Moen apparently isn't a healthy scratch, he's out with a lower body injury. Quote
brobin Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Moen apparently isn't a healthy scratch, he's out with a lower body injury. Slow legs? I have that too... I play through the injury. 1 Quote
brobin Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Pleks hits the net...goal! And Budaj let's Ott score..brutal Quote
johnnyhasbeen Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Pull the sieve!! Then waiver the bum. Christ. Quote
hab29RETIRED Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Eller is all over the place - but really needs someone to play with!! Very impressive shift! Quote
brobin Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Loved that play where Diaz shoots and makes sure it is low blocker side....Markov is already sneaking down for the rebound off the boards...almost worked too.. Seems they are splitting the difference by having Markov out most of the PP so he can play with Diaz and PK. Quote
brobin Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Is getting harder and harder to have any confidence in Budaj...looks awful.. Hope Gorges is okay. Quote
Dalhabs Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Whatever that ref is smoking it must be illegal... Armstrong a penalty for defending himself against 3 sabres players? Quote
brobin Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Good glove save...wish he could do that more often...no rebound. Quote
brobin Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Boys need to work on breakaways. Another penalty after ignoring at least three interference calls against buffalo... Quote
brobin Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Nice goal by Galy minor... And buffalo walks down and ties it again.. Sigh Quote
brobin Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 me... Budaj looks like an accident waiting to happen and the penalties are killing us. Quote
