Lovett's Magnatones
Other then Pacs, leafs are out playing us and there is the tying goal. Of course they are. This is THE game for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
habscout
Too bad the play was offside. Bad break for the Habs.
Habs30/31
Wow, what a shitty goal by Bernier... As i said last night. Pleks centering Gally and Chucky will be over in three games. Nobody does well on pleks wing. Chucky should be center.

DON
god I wish I had TVA, or is that blacked out also for BC? Healy is a maroon. Seems like is Leafs vs some team.

Machine of Loving Grace
I like Pacioretty on the PK, dangerous. Agreed. He still has to work on his positioning but if someone else gets the puck out, he's perfect to get a short handed rush in. Bozak scores. Ugh. dlbalr
god I wish I had TVA, or is that blacked out also for BC? Healy is a maroon. TVA Sports games are national this year. That was a tough end to the period, the PK had done well to that point...and then they forgot to cover the guy standing two inches from the crease. Ouch. sbhatt
Not enough intensity out of most of the Habs. Galchenyuk wrecked the first half of our powerplay...he looked clueless out there carrying the puck. DD disgustingly soft as usual. Max looked good. The Leafs D, with the exception of Phaneuf, looks much more competent this year; MT should instruct the team to attack on Dion's side of the ice every single time when he is out there. DON
9:11 in icetime for Subban, seems a lot for 1st period of season?
Lovett's Magnatones
Not the greatest start. Shots were 11-6. The Habs are doing well in faceoffs. No truculence! I don't have any expectations after the last four years of losing opening night.
sbhatt
No truculence! No kidding. Why can't the guys get even 50% of the hate they have for the Bruins directed at the Leafs?
dlbalr
9:11 in icetime for Subban, seems a lot for 1st period of season? Maybe a shift too many as he's at a 27:33 pace. 8:30 per period would be an ideal average (25:30 pace) so it's not all that high.

I tend to just concede an opening night defeat to my Leafs-fan friends and coworkers and say I'll remember their words in April.
