I really hope Therrien rips them a new asshole!

They're a complete NOSHOW against the worst fv.cking team in the league!

Let's see if these guys have any balls, and bail out Carey for once this year!

Maybe Eller should of rested, I think he and de la Rose are both -3

I thought DLR was a defensive specialist?

Wow! That was a rough period.

Weise had Pacioretty wide open when it was 1-1. That was an automatic goal and he tried to pick the top corner.

I guess it's a good thing that we have 10 NHL ready d men. One injury to the forward corps and we have all these losers up from Hamilton.

Malhotra is a surprising scratch. They might as well bring Hudon up and have an all AHL bottom six.

agree-play seems to be in slow motion. Third goal seemed to redirect off Prices stick and then hit Nate's skate and in.

Prust's play was "the" highlight of period.

Dumont is only Hab with 2 shots.

Maybe Sabres defense has tightened up after 14 losses in a row?

(Carey's save% not good)

2 goals is normally enough to beat the habs.

Let alone scoring twice in less than half a game. There offense has gone MIA.

Well it doesn't help that MB spent the first half of the year stockpiling d men like a doomsday prep per stockpiles canned peaches.

We have Thomas, Dumont and De La Rose in the lineup and Weaver, Allen, Tinordi and Drewiske in the press box/minors.

So far tonight, I've liked two lines - the Desharnais one (which has had a few good shifts/chances) and the Dumont one (Prust has been quietly effective beyond that big play while Thomas had some signs of life). That top line isn't working. I don't think Pacioretty/Plekanec are the issue either as they've played well together. They need to get Weise off that line soon.

(By the way, for those that saw my TOI tweet yesterday, do note that Weise is playing more than Galchenyuk again tonight. That's usually not an ideal way to generate offence.)

A guy like Weise can plug on the top line for 2-3 games tops. The DD line has looked good. They'll get at least one goal in the final frame.

Le Genius has a plan. No really I am sure of it. :scared:

the plan is to pay back the captain that was crying in MT's arms, by giving his crying captain a couple more wins that the sabres would otherwise win.

I like Weisse more than i ever liked Darche or Moen. But if he continues to play top line minutes i'm going to start hating him pretty quick!!
