Trizzak
The Habs haven't faced this level of quality of competition for just over a month, but tonight is the first of 4 games against some of the league's top teams. There has been a flu bug going around the roster, but nobody has been called up from Laval so it should be the usual cast of characters. I'll update lines as they are announced. xXx..CK..xXx
Byfuglien would return after 15 missed games just in time to face the Habs.
Trizzak
Drouin - Danault - Gallagher Peca - Domi - Tatar Lehkonen - Kotkaniemi - Armia Hudon - Chaput - Deslauriers Mete - Weber Reilly - Petry Kulak - Benn Price
zumpano21
Better bring the work boots tonight.
DON
Wheeler-65pts Schifele-62pts Someday Habs might have an all-star forward or two, but been long time waiting since last one played for Habs (I guess Kovalev was it in his 80 or so point season in 2010). Is #15 gonna be one, looking good so far?
Habopotamus
Crazy that Winnipeg has the youngest team in the league
DON
Next two games should be entertaining I hope. I think I would prefer Hudon with Domi over Peca, at least Hudon knows how to score a bit better, but like Peca's speed. (39pts in 107NHL games vs 17pts in 52gms)
Neech
These next four teams that we face might be the four strongest in the league. I'd say four points would be a success over this stretch.

Commandant
Drouin danault gallagher line are dominant this period. A goal already and easily could have two more
Habopotamus
These guys look so fkin good right now. I love it Kulak is questionable sometimes on the back end
xXx..CK..xXx
We could use Sergachev's support on these amazing plays Drouin is creating.
xXx..CK..xXx
I can't lie. I wouldn't want to be prophetic in this case, but these are the type of matches where not converting on our chances often comes back to give our bottoms a bite. Solid first period. Let's hope it's one of the more rare times that we continue to dominate after having missed a bunch of opportunities, including on the scoreboard. Neech
Does a period go by without Domi and/or Drouin having a chance where he should have shot it?
sbhatt
The boys played a great period of hockey...just need a little more 'finish' and we'll be golden.
zumpano21
When JD had his best game of the year against the Ducks, part of me was wondering if he could only bring it against weak opposition. Happy to be wrong.

Neech
Great setup by Hudon, unlucky for Big Nic. I'm feeling Mete in my veins tonight boys!
tomh009
Great effort by Mete to break out of the defensive zone -- and draw the Jets penalty.

dlbalr
Really good game so far - Hellebuyck has made a few huge stops or the Habs could be up by a few. Drouin's having a nice game, good to see.
