I don't wish Barron any ill and hope he recovers soon. But I won't miss him taking charity minutes and making crazy D-zone errors while he recovers.

Only meant it was fairly late in game Rangers up by three. Hit him sure. But time of game and score is what I meant by unnecessary. A respect thing. I am thinking that’s why Trouba and Anderson met up at beginning of game. Respect our players or else.

 

Forgot to answer this part. Yes clean hit… yes, Barron should have seen him coming…. But Trouba could have let up a tad instead of hitting him unnecessarily hard in a lopsided, 3/4 done game. Wasn’t for the cup.
 

I would expect a fight if tables were turned.

Clean hit. Emelin did that all the time. Shouldn't have to fight after a clean hit.

Like I said. Clean, but unnecessary to be so violent with not much on the line in an out of reach game you’re winning. Trouba should be putting the game to bed not ramping up the violence. Just a lack of respect to somebody who is vulnerable. It’s fine to hit Barron, but take the ambulance ride out of the hit. 

 

Big clean hits are drawing crowds (melees, fights, donnybrooks). Been happening for a long time.

Trouba's hits are barely on the line. I'd rather have our D like Struble or Wifi try and smoke a guy like Panarin with a hard clean hit, or Anderson smoke Fox and they should tell Panarin and Fox that they are going to see a lot more of those if Trouba continues to head hunt.
