Just Win Baby!

All this talk about Washington regressing this year.. I just don't see it. Way too talented of a team.

Looking forward to seeing how the Habs stack up against another playoff team in the East.

Hudon and Lehks have big games... just a hunch.

It does seem as though the Caps have missed their window. I recall reports three years ago that management saw the team as having a two year window. Well, here they are.

They're a lot like the Habs now - a team whose only real shot at a championship would lie in their elite goalie getting into The Zone for four rounds, with the rest of the team being just good enough to win on that basis. Very, very hard to do.

Well... I don't ordinarily accept capital punishment... but in this case...... I think I can be persuaded....

Who is more dangerous, Ovechkin or Backstrom?

Habs have won very few games in Washington, not much better in Montreal neither.

RReusch pre game trivia.

My prediction for the game which I've done well with so far in this early season is that at least one of Streit or Mete will register a point today. Once I get one wrong, I'll take a break

The Ovechkin/Kuznetzov line was the scary one against Ottawa.

Not feeling good about this one, two tough lines and a goalie who stands on his head often; but, GO Habs GO!:gohabsgo:

So Barber Bill's answer for defensive breakdowns is to put out Mete and Streit.

This is one of the most atrocious starts I can remember seeing

Where are the clowns on this board who were spewing rose coloured glasses type BS about the quality of our blueliners now?

Did you see HNIC's graphic showing how Bergevin has retooled the blueline completely since 2015?

This is what happens when you put a dummy in charge

Molson should have fired him as soon as he told him of his desire to trade Subban as far as I am concerned.

Record for worst start ever in a game?

And easy with the pitch forks boys, it's 1 game

It was last game too....the only reason it wasn't a slaughter in Buffalo is their lack of talent.  You are seeing what happens when a good team comes up against our dumpster fire D corps.

It's very early. But this is what I've been worried about all along...a blueline almost built to struggle with the ever-increasing speed of the game.

Nice desperation play by Alzner there.

Good thing I have Ovie in my pool

I’d say first mistake of the season this year was Julian’s decision to start Benn on the top pair with Weber... no reason to make that change before the game even starts!
