JLP Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 good morning sirs! a good effort in the 2nd, Go Habs Go! Quote
sbhatt Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Best attacking I've seen from the Habs in awhile...let's hope they don't change a thing for the third period!!! I swear, if they come out and sit back rather than attacking, I'm gonna slag Carbonneau like nobody has ever slagged him before on this board. Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Best attacking I've seen from the Habs in awhile...let's hope they don't change a thing for the third period!!! I swear, if they come out and sit back rather than attacking, I'm gonna slag Carbonneau like nobody has ever slagged him before on this board. Be prepared to slag! Quote
sbhatt Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Be prepared to slag! I sincerely hope he's not that stupid...how many times do you have to get burned before you learn a lesson? I'd think he'd have adequate proof by now that sitting back and trying to defend a lead doesn't work for this team. Quote
johnnyhasbeen Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 (edited) wow. about time we exploded Edited December 28, 2007 by johnnyhasbeen Quote
sbhatt Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 ....yeah, it's 5-0 but still I'm gonna be pissed if they stop attacking! Quote
JLP Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 5-0 when was the last time the Habs pressed for a five-goal lead? loving it Quote
sbhatt Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Oh, have I mentioned lately that we need a fighter??? Quote
Dutch_Habs_Fan Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 WOEHOEEE!! Nice balancing Kosto, hahahah! Quote
Nilan25 Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Oh, have I mentioned lately that we need a fighter??? Exhibit B. So called fighter gets pummelled. Quote
JLP Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Kostos does not fight particularly well does he? What Habs need is a Lapierre stunt double Quote
Dutch_Habs_Fan Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 and Gorges, guy really plays a good game. I think these lines are a keeper! Quote
sbhatt Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Ryder puts it right in the middle of the goalie's chest.... ...I don't think he's going to get 'it' back. They're still attacking...I think Carbo may finally have learned from his mistakes. Quote

JLP Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 wtf did Roy do? Ten minutes for cussing at the Habs bench? Quote
JLP Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 anyway (late lapse notwithstanding) the Habs looked much better tonight ~ obviously Carbo read Colin's post. :hlogo: Quote
Nilan25 Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 and Gorges, guy really plays a good game. I think these lines are a keeper! Don't get Gorges. Pretty much looks overmatched to me. Quote
Dutch_Habs_Fan Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Sloppy sloppy ending!! Some lines juggling at the end, and no concentration. Hate it to end a game that way.. but love the 2 points and the 2,5 periods played! Quote
ShortHanded Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 ugh. how stupid to let in a goal like that at the end. should have been 5-0, but overall VERY VERY good. Quote
MFT77 Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Nice win tonite, although hated the ending. Until late in the game, the Habs never let up. Too bad Ryder couldn't get one. Tough sledding for him. Great game by Kovalev tonite. Him and Pleks really have some chemistry going. Didn't see much of Koivu in the 3rd, maybe resting him for tomorrow nite. Another game where Bouillon and Gorges don't get scored on. Wow. 2-1-1 for the roadtrip. Hopefully keep it going. Quote
Bacchus Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Nice victory! T1t bros still going at a ppg pace! Ni-ceh! Quote
Habsfan84 Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 The Habs win. I still dont understand why Torterello yanked Holmqvist after three goals. He put Romo in and he got scored on twice. Then the Lightning scored and he replaced Romo with Holmqvist. That was really wierd to me especially after the lighting scored. Quote
