dlbalr
Eller's in for Pyatt tonight, Mara likely in for Nash but not official.
Habsfan84
Well CBC picks up a rare Thursday night game. Should be fun to watch. I'm interested to find out who exactly the Habs will pair with Mara. Its got to be someone with speed, thats for sure. Go Habs Go! Its been a long time since we won in Edmonton. I believe the last victory for the Habs in Edmonton was the Heritage classic over 7 years ago which was a 4-3 victory. So if you want to go even further back, the Habs have not won at Rexall Place since the 2000-01 season when they took a 3-2 victory on November 29 2000. At that time the building was named Skyreach Centre. We are due for a victory tonight.

I like the suggestion here that The Wiz moves up with Hammer and PK plays with Mara. Weber and Picard play reduced minutes and if Mara holds his own him and PK play 25+. lol - the old man might keel over. like me on the outdoor rink with Queen's students last week. BCHabnut
Another loss in my back yard coming up. The boys at work will have a blast razzing me about this one again. I was going to go to this one, but went to Banff for 4 days of skiing and partying for about the same cost. LOL. If teh Habs take this team lightly, they will get owned. Their offense is very fast. They have no Defense, I expect our young D to get burned more than once. I really think Subban will be amped for this one. He will want to shut down and outplay Eberle and Hall. Mara has played 2 games since early December. I'm not sure he'll be able to log 25+, I think Picard's heading for a near 20 minute game again, with Mara getting into some game shape alongside Weber (who really shouldn't have his minutes cut either). They'll find a way to balance it out, the coaches did a decent job last game aside from giving Subban probably a little too much.
Habsfan84
Mara is pushing it real close for tonights game. He has just arrived in Edmonton but has yet to make it to the arena. Should be arriving shortly.
Dalhabs
Our D look like a SUPERB group... in the AHL. Hope we go all out attack tonight and win 11-8 or something
Habsfan84
Looks like we need a win to keep pace with Boston. They are beating up on the Islanders tonight. 6-2 as we speak midway trough the second.
Habsfan84
Looks like Mara will not play tonight as per twitter at least Finalement Paul Mara est arrive a temps mais I'll ne jouera pas contre les Oilers.
dlbalr
Correct - apparently he made but his equipment didn't.
Habsfan84
Correct - apparently he made but his equipment didn't. That always seems to happen. You would think if this constantly happens players would make sure their equipment is being moved from plane to plane. Poor job by the airlines none the less. Well at least I get to see Nash tonight. I missed the last game.
dlbalr
His equipment is there now...too late to play though, the lineup card is in and Nash is on it. Desharnais' line to start for the Habs.

dlbalr
The Moen-Gomez-Kostitsyn line has had some good chances so far, Plekanec's line has been invisible though. I feel bad for Hamrlik, it's going to be a loooong night for him.

brobin
PK bails Hammer out again.. Hammer has to simplify his game.. too many give aways and bad pinches. I guess the refs forgot their whistles.. awful lot being let go tonight.
brobin
Hammer... when you are a defenseman and leading the damn rush.. don't make a drop pass to the blueline as you go in... that shit got Subban benched..
brobin
well.. all over now... two quick goals by the Oilers... pack it up and pray they win on sunday... That was a terrible goal by Price...
Habsfan84
well.. all over now... two quick goals by the Oilers... pack it up and pray they win on sunday... That was a terrible goal by Price... You have to blame the d on those two goals. Bad pinch by Subban and nash looked bad on the Oilers third goal.
