DON
Bit of discussion on NCAA top prospects, Hutson & Fowler's year.
Habs Fan in Edmonton
Florian continues his hot streak with 1G 1A today, 2nd star of game. He has 12 goals in his last 12 games. That's a nice improvement considering he had 13 goals in 68 games last year.

DON
Euro Habs Prospects: Kapanen back after time with national team (habseyesontheprize.com) "...Rögle has scored the least amount of goals in the SHL and Engström has been directly involved in 19% (18/94) of Rögle’s goals so far, this without a lot of power play time as well as being the defensive part of the pairing with Viljanen." "Eriksson continues his impressive season in Nybro, with 17 points (6G, 11A) in 15 games. It helps that he is being used on the power play, but he is playing around 20 minutes a game and plays on both special-teams units." "... Reinbacher is the best player that Kloten has on the ice. He is back to himself now that the injuries seem to have passed..."

Habs Fan in Edmonton
While we are at it. Mine would be. 1. Reinbacher 2. Hutson 3. Beck 4. Mailloux 5. Roy 6. Engstrom 7. Mesar 8. Fowler 9. Heineman 10. Bogdan I guess I am not 100% convinced that Hutson will be able to dominate offensively the same way or close to it at the pro level. I sincerely hope I am 100% wrong on that. I am likely higher on Mailloux than most and think he will be a better pro than Roy. I love Beck's game. I saw some clips of Reinbacher's game recently, just think his skating ability, ranginess, work ethic etc make him an almost can't miss prospect. I think Fowler (0.923%) has done great, but so did Primeau (0.933% last year NCAA). Volokhin supposedly also looking good in the MHL, 0.937%
alfredoh2009
I have a feeling Kapanen may be an “out of sight, out of mind” type of prospect like Struble. He seems to be developing just fine: Oliver Kapanen is scoring at a 1.12 ppg pace in his last 17 games (including 1g 1a today) with 19 points. Liiga's top scorer has 1.13 ppg. — Grant McCagg (@grantmccagg) February 22, 2024
DON
Reinbacher 0pts 21:15 in 3-0 loss. Xhekaj 1g (28) late 3rd Mesar 1g(17) 1a 4 shots mid 3rd Beck 0pts start 3rd Hutson 2a mid 3rd
tomh009
It looked like Kloten might avoid the relegation round but the current five-game losing streak has them solidly in the bottom two in the league.

DON
Hope Rohrer matures well over next season+ in Swiss league and has a bit bigger role next season . https://www.habseyesontheprize.com/montreal-canadiens-european-prospects-2024-02-27-stats-highlights-david-reinbacher-adam-engstrom-filip-eriksson-bogdan-konyushkov-oliver-kapanen-vinzenz-rohrer-yevgeni-volokhin/ How soon will we see Reinbacher in a Hab jersey... am getting anxious! "...A lot has been said about Kloten’s season, but the fact is that Reinbacher has stood tall when the others around him have faltered, and I expect him to continue to do so under the circumstances that he will face. He is Kloten’s best player and it’s not close as you watch the team play. It would have been easy for him to drop with the rest of his team, but his character and pride don’t let him, and that is something that should really speak to Montreal fans all over the world."
