Despite being scratched and seeing very limited ice time Demidov is only 2 points out of first overall for points. Demidov is producing at the same pace as Malkin was at 19. Hes scoring and all credit for that but hes still not close to Demidov as a blue chip prospect. Just not the same level of dynamic skill.
