Then as usual he is passed up AGAIN in the shootout. This is bullshit coaching. No excuse for the crap play at home against the worst team in the league and your old minor league goalie. On the second goal, what the hell are the two worst dman on the team playing together for??? Is there a worst coach in the league right now, I don't know who that is. I thought it was a good choice to put two offensive guys out there on the shootout that had played with sanford for a year. If anyone knows him it's Pacioretty and Dasharnais. You could also argue Sanford knows maxpac ands DD better then the guy who actually scored on him tonight. Unacceptable to lose on Home ice against THE worst team in the NHL. I think Josh Gorges said it best in his post game comments...he basically said that if you can't win against the worst team in the league, that basically means that you aren't a very good team...at best you're a mediocre team. The only bright spots tonight on the Habs were Emelin (9 hits tonight) and Carey Price, who allowed us to pick up 1 point. I'm starting to think that even with Markov back in the line-up,this team won't make the play-offs. One guy can't drastically change this team, especially not a guy who has played maybe 40 games in the past 2 years.
