KoZed
*1. San Jose - Once they deal a goalie away, they'll have one of the most balanced lineup in the league *2. Nashville - Great on paper, but wont gel right from the start. *3. Calgary - Still the best defense in the league, Tanguay will add needed offense. 4. Minnesota - Starting to look like NJ of old, except no Brodeur. 5. Anaheim - Offense is a question mark. 6. Vancouver - Luongo is the key, could carry the team further than expected. 7. Colorado - Still lot of offensive talent but will miss Blake. 8. Detroit - Rebuilding is starting and Hasek is too old. 9. Phoenix - Slowly getting there, but lack depth at C and a good goalie. 10. Edmonton - SCF hungover, loss of Pronger, in a tough division = trouble. 11. Dallas - Will be a annoying to play against, could even slip in the playoffs. 12. Los Angeles - Could surprise or could fall flat. 13. Chicago - Can't do worse than last season 14. Columbus - Too much to asked from Leclaire to carry this team with such a weak D. 15. St.Louis - Legace isnt the answer. *1. Ottawa - Still have the best 1st line in the league and talent D. But depth is wearing thin. *2. Tampa Bay - Too much talent, needs to prove their Cup wasnt a fluke and Denis will be a revelation. *3. Philadelphia - Group of forwards very talented and Pitkanen is just starting to emerge. 4. Carolina - Still deep now that they added Belanger and Gleason. Staal is a franchise player. 5. Montreal - One of the most talented overall group of forward, but also young. D and goalies are question marks. 6. New York R - Not enough depth up front and questionable D. Lundqvist will steal games though. 7. Boston - Questionnable forwards but great D. All hopes rest on Toivonen. 8. Buffalo - Great depth at every position, but might suffer post-arbitrage syndrome. 9. New Jersey - Can still reap rewards of the good prospects they've developped, but might be too little too late. 10. Toronto - Lack scoring from the wings and Raycroft is a fluke. 11. Atlanta - Lack depth at C and quality D. 12. Pittsburgh - Still lack quality wingers and D, but slowly getting up there. 13. Florida - Good overall, but will miss Luongo terribly. 14. New York I - Ted Nolan sucks and Garth Snow for GM?! 15. Washington - Just not enough talent and Kolzig can't hold on forever. SJ beats DET : SJ too deep, big and hungry ------------ OTT beats BUF: Takes everything for OTT. NSH beats COL: Vokoun beats Theodore ---------------- TB beats BOS: TB is just too strong CGY beats VAN: Kipper vs Luongo ------------------------- NYR beats PHI: Lundqvist is the edge. ANA beats MIN: Anaheim's experience wins ------------ MTL beats CAR: Revenge for last season. SJ beats ANA: SJ too many weapons --------------------- MTL beats OTT: OTT too tired, MTL too hungry CGY beats NSH: NSH can't keep up ----------------------- TB beats NYR: TB's depth wins. SJ beats CGY: SJ gets their revenge ---------------------- TB beats MTL: Habs can't contain Lecavalier, again. SJ beats TB: Thornton vs Lecavalier, Marleau vs Richards... SJ's grit proves to be the edge.

Pierre the Great
Pierre, you said Vancouver will win the Cup. I legally have to hate you now. Ah come on now. Vancouver people are really nice. I'm good friends with some of the best people in the world that happen to live there. lol. I thought it was Calgary-Edmonton that was more heated. sakiqc
SJ beats TB: Thornton vs Lecavalier, Marleau vs Richards... SJ's grit proves to be the edge. Sorry but Thornton will never win anything in the playoffs. He got owned every time the Bruins made the series. And with SJ last year, he had again a subpar performance and it was Marleau the real leader.

sakiqc
* Nashville * Calgary * San Jose 4- Anaheim 5- Minnesota 6- Detroit 7- Colorado 8- Dallas 9- Phoenix 10- Los Angeles 11- Edmonton 12- Vancouver 13- Columbus - however, one team of the bottom 3 might make the playoffs or be near because of the intradivision games. 14- St Louis 15- Chicago * Ottawa * Tampa Bay * New Jersey 4- Buffalo 5- Carolina 6- NY Islanders 7- Florida 8- Philadelphia 9- Montreal - We'll play 8 games vs each of our division rivals.. which is NOT a good thing for us 10- Boston 11- NY Rangers 12- Atlanta 13- Toronto 14- Washington 15- Pittsburgh
