Another 'Should' win game.

SJ 2-7-1 and 3 loss streak

Habs 7-1-2 and 4 win streak

(Assume Petry will make the game.)

DD 6pts in last 6 games

Max and Marky 7pts in last 6

PK 8pts in last 6 (1point behind Letang, can he be #1 tomorrow morning?)

Go Habs Go. I'm hoping Parenteau comes back with a little bit of drive and plays good hockey. He could be that addition to the top six that we were looking for if he turns it around. I'm not sure where he slots in tonight but its likely in the bottom six so he can get his conditioning back.

Petry is likely the only new player we will see tonight. When our new additions make their debuts we will have get used to numbers that were already worn this year. Petry will wear #26 (Sekac), Mitchell will wear #17 (Bourque), and Flynn will wear #32 (Moen).

#26 is it, Petry is supposed to dress I think.

(I got a kick out of Willie MItchell's tweeted advise to Glen Healy today, in Boone's tweet of the day on HIO.)

supposedly 3rd pairing with Gonchar (to start anyways)

Apparently the Habs haven't won in San Jose since November of 1999. Suffice it to say, they're due.

Montreal's lines:

Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gallagher

Eller-Plekanec-Galchenyuk

Prust-de la Rose-Smith-Pelly

Parenteau-Malhotra-Weise

Markov-Subban

Beaulieu-Gilbert

Gonchar-Petry

Lets hope P.A has an awakening

On the 4th line - not likely. Hopefully he will get swapped with Prust.

was redirected

why?plekanic line getting owned by sharks.

He would have had it, he wasn't paying attention as he was looking at the ref....he assumed it was going out of the zone.

He is motivated now though.... :)

SJ dominated the first 10 minutes but before the 2 kinda unlucky penalties Mtl was coming on stronger. Its only a 2 goal game and the next goal is going to be big.

Did not even notice Parenteau in the first. Forgot he was even in. Habs better get their head in the game. The sharks are a very beatable team who can give up a lead

Smith Pelly has been invisible every game

Yes he has. Wont be long before MT healthy scratches him.

Habs looks flat, dont think they have it tonight. Sharks need the points and are playing like it.
