dlbalr
It looks like Ryder is expected to be available tonight although he's not likely going to be in the morning skate. (He has to pass his physical first and the Habs will be on the ice shortly.)
Habsfan
I got a bad feeling about this one...THe Habs are 24-20-8 since the Lock-out against the Leafs...a losing record.
dlbalr
Reimer is expected to be available as backup for the Leafs tonight but Scrivens will start. Goals may be a bit hard to come by tonight as both teams are in the bottom five in the East for goals allowed per game (Montreal is 2nd, Toronto 4th). TurdBurglar
Jamie McLennan actually did a comparison between Price and Scrivens for TSN to see who was better. Scrivens isn't in Price's league yet, and may never be. Just found it amusing anyone would take the time to compare it.

Scrivens isn't in Price's league yet, and may never be. Just found it amusing anyone would take the time to compare it. It's because "Leaf Nation" has a tendency to overrate every single goalie they have coming out of their junior system. I remember people calling Reimer, "Getting Price the same year a couple rounds up"
dlbalr
Random stat to pass the time, the Leafs lead the NHL in 5-on-3 opportunities and 5-on-3 PP time. On the flip side, the Habs lead the East in total 5-on-4 time...the Leafs are 2nd.

dlbalr
Is Kaberle in tonight? Now is when we are happy to have some extra dmen Yes, he's in. I imagine he'll play with Bouillon, Subban with Gorges. As for line combos, Ryder is with Desharnais and Galchenyuk according to Pat Hickey. If true, they'll look something like this: Pacioretty - Plekanec - Gionta Galchenyuk - Desharnais - Ryder Prust - Eller - Gallagher Marc Denis is reporting Ryder is with Galchenyuk and Eller though so who knows. TheDriveFor25
Tough loss not having Diaz in there.. I hope those lines are wrong.. keep Gally with Eller, they've been playing well... Anyways, GO HABS GO! Kind of a cliche, but the first goal tonight is HUGE. After the last game, the boys really need to come out flying... bbp
I hope Chuckie brings his physical shoes today. Someone is going to need to make space for DD on that line.
brobin
Grrr... Playing the leafs and both Bourque and Diaz are out...I hope the boys can suck it up and beat these bastards.

Habsfan
I'll pray to the Hockey gods that the Leafs fans will feel the shame I felt when I was at the 6-0 beating we took a few weeks ago! Go Habs go!!!

JMMR
Leafs got away with 2 early penalty's and the Habs one. Really hope this is a well officiated games with few penalty's.

brobin
Always makes me nervous when we dominate but cant score. Refs are being pretty generous to the leafs....
