dlbalr
The WHL'ers all had strong nights yesterday: - Bozon: 2 goals, 2 assists, +3 - Dietz: 2 assists, +2 - Thrower: 1 assist, +1 Brady Vail was held pointless but he played on the 2nd defence pairing instead of up front. Now that's versatility.
Commandant
Bozon has a 7 game point streak going. 5 goals, 8 assists in that time. He now has 71 points on the season, in just 51 games. This ties his career high for points, and he's done it in 20 less games.

dlbalr
Daniel Pribyl has quietly put together a 4 game goal and point streak; he has 8 points (4-4-8) in that stretch. He's a streaky producer but he's on a roll right now.
dlbalr
For those looking to see some of the junior prospects, Sportsnet has two straight Friday games with a Montreal prospect beginning next week. Commandant
Sebastian Collberg signed a new contract with Frölunda. Club release does not specify period. One year is assumed. Its not a big deal even if its longer, since there is a transfer agreement with Sweden, Montreal could buy him out of any Swedish contract if he makes the Habs. The KHL deals, with no transfer deal, are more problematic. In other news, Darren Dietz has brought his +/- back to -10 on the season after a +4 in a 5-4 win yesterday. Commandant
An early assist gives him a new career high in points, and an 8 game point streak. Another assist gives him a 9 game point streak Vail also had a goal tonight, and Archambault 2 goals.

Commandant
Dietz 2 goals (15 on the season) and a +2 to take him back to a mere -7 on the season... something that was once unthinkable.

dlbalr
A mid-game injury forced Brady Vail into playing defence once again for roughly half of Windsor's win tonight. Darren Dietz is having a strong game so far with a goal and an assist in the 2nd period. His goal (17th) puts him one shy of the league lead for goals by a defenceman. He's also +16 in February...and there's still nearly 2 weeks to go.
Commandant
-3 on the season for Dietz now. If you told me he'd get his +/- down to that I wouldn't have believed you.
bbp
Watched Bozon's game against the Vancouver Giants last week. Really skilled, makes his own space, goes to the front of the net (almost scored one of the goals that game but the guy infront of him deflected it first). Couple other things. While someone should tell him what finishing a check means... he is sneaky along the boards, doesn't "fight" for the puck but just kinda picks it out from guys feet and skates away with it. Solid game for him but all in all I believe he only got the one assist.
dlbalr
Speaking of Bozon (and Vancouver for that matter), Kamloops takes on Vancouver Friday night on Sportsnet for anyone interested.

dlbalr
13 straight wins for Saskatoon. 3 assists and a +2 for Dietz, who is now just -1 on the season. That was quite the 3rd period for the Blades. I checked the score before I shut the computer off last night - it was 1-1 and Dietz was -1 at the time. He now sits tied for 4th in the WHL for points by a defenceman while also tying his career high in points from last year in 12 fewer games. dlbalr
Magnus Nygren signs a 1 year extension with Farjestad. If the old CBA rules apply (meaning that the Habs don't have 2 more years to sign him), they'll have to loan him back to the SEL next season on the first year of his ELC. dlbalr
Archambault had another strong game yesterday with a goal and two assists, surpassing his previous career high in points in the process (he has 54 in 54 games). He has 11 points in his last 7 games.
Commandant
2 goals +1 for Dietz 2 assists for Thrower. Saskatoon wins 14th straight game. Dietz was -20 when the streak began. He's +1 now.
