The team does not have the cap space to call anyone else up at the moment (the joys of currently carrying 3 goalies, 8 d-men, and 14 forwards). Lindgren was up on an emergency recall which lasts 48 hours. For them to keep him up, a roster move had to be made. Price was IR'ed retroactively so if he's ready to go on Tuesday, he'll be available. Frankly, I don't get why they didn't do that in the first place. With Price on IR and Andrighetto being waived they can call up McCarron once Ghetto clears. EDIT: With Shaw not getting suspended then they don't need to call anyone up... No. Once Andrighetto is off the books tomorrow, they'll be around $750,000 or so under the cap. McCarron makes more than that. There's no cap relief for Price being on regular IR either. That may force Sergachev to stay up longer unfortunately - if they want to keep him at nine games or less, they'll really have to start moving him in and out of the lineup a lot.
