zumpano21 Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 The mechanism is correct for an MCL injury (same idea as Price last year). Hard to know anything else. Quote

habs rule Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I think it is the same knee he hurt in his draft year. That is not good. Quote

dlbalr Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Barberio has been sent down which is a sign that Beaulieu is ready to go (or really close to returning). Quote
dlbalr Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Hudon is off IR and has been assigned to St. John's as well. That's odd considering a fractured sternum usually takes way longer to heal. Quote
IN THE HEARTS OF MEN Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Would that be to get his daily salary off the cap right now Quote

As a result, this is just a regular demotion. Edit: On second thought, this could simply be a 'conditioning stint'. Since Hudon has been off for a couple of weeks, they send him down to play the 2-in-2 in St. John's on Friday/Saturday and then flip him back up and Andrighetto down after. Quote

HF: [Walks away puzzled] HG: "Muuuuhahahahahahahaa! Take that! and that! and....." Seeing reports that both Galchenyuk and Desharnais will be out for 6-8 weeks. John Shannon speculates that it will be after the All-Star break :-( Altogether, repeat after me " They just have to play .500 hockey from now until...". Quote
Commandant Posted December 7, 2016 Author Posted December 7, 2016 SHIT we need to make a trade. Quote
Habsfan Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Shitty, shit shit!!! I can't believe the injury bug is gonna screw with this team again. Last year was price and Gallagher and this year its Chucky...just when the kid was starting to show signs of superstardom! I hope we can play .500 hockey for the next 8 weeks. We were already pretty thin down the middle, but now it's like we're gonna be struggling to beat the worst teams in the league. This really pisses me off! ######ing hockey Gods!! Quote
