My name : JoeLassister

My job : Using the concept of Jinx to end up Habs nasty slumps.

My record : 2-0 last season (first appearance this season, yeah)

My GDT template : None

My way of doing things : sarah_walker.jpg

The Good News :

  • Tampa Bay are on a 4 games losing streak
  • They scored 5 goals or more only once during this streak, which is nice for us
  • Yvonne Strahovski
  • I don't work the evening shift tonight, can watch the game

The Bad News :

  • Steven Stamkos, in the race for both the Art Ross and the Rocket Trophies
  • Habs' goaltending
  • Habs' defensive coverage
  • My fridge is beer less, gotta go buy some before the game

Game starts at 19h30, so that means 19h39 or so

TV : RDS and TSN Habs

Make me proud.

Yvonne is just what we need to set the world right. Ok boys time to turn this thing around. You had your slump now get off your collective asses and go to work. :gohabsgo: :gohabsgo: :gohabsgo::habslogo:

And people want more girls on the site... come on post some hunky guys and we might have better luck.

I'm pretty sure that Yvonne would have a chance with most of the girls who love hockey enough to register on a Habs board. :B)

Someone backed out on some tickets I have and I need to sell a pair for tonight Reds

Section 121 row V looking for close to face value which would be $220 for the pair but ill accept anything reasonable.

Tampa's pretty healthy at the moment, they're only missing Ohlund (who is likely done for good) and Lindback (who would be the backup goalie anyways now). Tonight's projected lines for them:

Purcell-Stamkos-St. Louis

Malone-Lecavalier-Pouliot

Killorn-Thompson-Panik

Crombeen-Tyrell-Labrie

Hedman-Salo

Brewer-Carle

Gudas-Aulie

Bishop

As for the Habs, the plan yesterday was to have Prust sit this one out. Presuming Ryder can't go (there was no game day skate today so we don't know yet), that means Blunden will play with Dumont likely moving up to the 3rd line.

I know dlbalr touched on it but any news on Ryder?

And most shocking of all... Colby Armstrong a game time decision.

No kidding, no one had heard anything about him skating, being cleared for contact, etc. Given how Dumont did last night, I'm not sure I'd toss him in. I'd say Dumont earned another game.

how connected is the Habs drop in play to Colby's injury?

Probably just fretting, but I'm a bit worried that guys like Prust, Ryder and Armstrong are trying to play through imperfectly-healed injuries rather than getting properly healed up for the playoffs.

This is a *must* win game, in a way the biggest of the season so far. Get 2 points and they break the slide, keep their position in the standings and boost their confidence in a huge way.
