More shots, hits, faceoffs, nicely done.

Bergeron is 25% on faceoffs, 1:6 vs Plekanec, sweet bonus (so far)

Wow. Pleks must be so happy its a brand new day to redeem himself and have his lustre restored in our eyes after all his wonderful play.

Ummm... Wow. Best period of the playoffs for the habs. I really wish they could have come out 2-0.

For sure. And you're right, 2 would have been more appropriate.. but I don't see us taking our foot off the gas in this game no matter what happens. It's a night when even a Vanek or Pac might score!! So weird to say that..

I want to see more goals from our boys. You know... 1:0 it's nothing with two periods remaining :P

If they keep bringing it like they did in the first.. and I think they will, the goals will come.

Two minutes of ice time for Beaulieu. Safe to say that Murray was his guy. Way to wear the boys down with a potential game 7

Weaver isn't playing much either, just over 3 minutes (and considering he's a PK specialist, that's odd). It looks like the two pairings will get most of the time. I suspect Beaulieu will see a bit of time on the upcoming PP to start the second.

T'would be great to see Briere, Pac or Vanek light it up a bit.

Or Markov. .who has so much to bring as Cuke was saying.

Very nice setup from Vanek

That's gotta hurt.. missing that gimme..

Gallagher misses 2 foot putt.

he ain't the handiest handyman in town for sure... He generates chances and misses. Boston has fanned on a lot of good chances in earlier games..

Boston player wide open in front of Price...

why?? MT

Not ruling out Beaulieu's being a terrific addition. But if he is so great, why hasn't he cracked the lineup prior to this, our most desperate moment? That's why I say all this excitement is a "little pathetic." Still, it's an interesting opportunity to see what Beaulieu is made of, and again, I do like the move. I'm just not expecting much to come from it.

I don't get how Pacman hasn't been a factor at all in this series.

That penalty has Boston back in business establishing their game
