tomh009
I think there is a pretty high probability that St-Louis will do something other than the lines from practice. He doesn’t like to show his hand in advance. Allen starting in net?
DON
Matheson-Lindstrom pairing, is a bit weak defensively. Oh well, let the fun begin.
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Nice to see two of the most beautiful uniforms in all of sport on the same ice.
Sir_Boagalott
D'oh, when Pearson had the puck and dropped it back to the player behind him I would have liked to have seen a pass to the wide open Slaf vs them taking a shot.
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Feck, another defensive breakdown and the Wings make us pay. Blown coverage there.
DON
Jake the Snake didnt have a chance on that one. (Was Barron's brothers birthday today, he scored for the Jets.)
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
That 2nd goal was kind of funny...you don't see that very often. Galley letting Anderson have it for dubious defensive follow-up. This group isn't very good even when healthy. Subtract seven or eight regulars and we are as easy mark. DON
The ol dreaded 2 goal lead.
Sir_Boagalott
Son of a, numerous bad plays in the same sequence leads to the Wings 2nd goal. I liked what the announcer said, Anderson should have stopped near the net instead of skating behind the goal line. If he had stopped he would have seen the lose puck that Allen didn't realize was there.
GHT120
On the second goal, Barron was very slow to turn and head back after the puck was turned over.
DON
OK... keep it single-digits at least.
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Another lost battle by Anderson. 🤷♂️ This blows

Prime Minister Koivu
Slafkovsky looks good and I think Evans has been an upgrade on Dvorak. Barron is surprising me with his goals

Sir_Boagalott
I somewhat think Marty should pull Allen after that 3rd goal on 11 shots. Way to go Barron!! Not sure what's going on but they still haven't put the Habs goal on the score board.

DON
At least a glimmer of good news from dlbalr "In other injury news Saturday, both David Savard and Arber Xhekaj took to the ice. Savard skated before the morning skate while Xhekaj took part in some team drills."

The players in front of him need to be better.

Ya, it was definitely surprising how he bobbled the puck while in the Wings end out at the blue line and his attempted recovery lead to breakaway and goal against. DON
0 shots for Caufield. 9:37 for Matheson in the 1st. Habs 67% on faceoffs FWIW (but 5-7 for the Cap't cant hurt);
