Beer Talk Begins Shortcat1 says pretty well most beers are good - not a heck of a lot of difference in taste. So........................................ the cheapest (or near cheapest) brand does for me. B) :king: :hlogo: :king:

beliveau1
"You've been rubbing my nose in it since I got here! Your family is better than my family, your beer comes from farther away than my beer, you and your son like each other, your wife's butt is higher than my wife's butt! You make me sick!" (Homer Simpson) "The other day I was so desperate for a beer, I snuck into the football stadium and ate the dirt under the bleachers..." “Apu I need a keg and a six pack to hold me until I tap the keg.” personally though I love Skittlebrau... Homer: Got any of that beer that has candy floating in it? You know, Skittlebrau? Apu: Such a beer does not exist, sir. I think you must have dreamed it. Homer: Oh. Well, then just give me a six-pack and a couple of bags of Skittles.

mathieu30
28 posts and nobody mentioned the Westvleteren 'trappist'. Unbelievable! Westvleteren is without a doubt the best beer in the world. If you know Leffe and trappist of Westmalle you have good taste as well. Voila, there you go: THE TOP BEERS: 1 Westvleteren Abt 12 2 Närke Kaggen Stormaktsporter 3 Three Floyds Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout 4 Three Floyds Oak Aged Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout 5 AleSmith Barrel Aged Speedway Stout 6 AleSmith Speedway Stout 7 Rochefort Trappistes 10 8 Bells Expedition Stout 9 Great Lakes Barrel-Aged Blackout Stout 10 Three Floyds Dreadnaught Imperial IPA source: ratebeer.com :king:

habsfan88
What is your favorite beer? Also, has anyone here ever tried Molson Export? Is it any good? What beer would you compare it to?
JMMR
I like a lot of beer but not beers above 5% alc. Export I would compare to Labatt 50. I drink the odd Saku Originall when watching the habs. Nothing better than a Corona with lime on a hot summer day after you mow the lawn. I love a Kilkenny with dinner. Mont Royale
What is your favorite beer? Also, has anyone here ever tried Molson Export? Is it any good? What beer would you compare it to? I like Export a lot. I think it's one of the best of the 'mass-market' type of beers. I guess it can be compared to 50 in that it's an ale, but I never much liked the taste of 50. At bars or restaurants, I generally go with Rickards Red as my draught of choice. Good stuff.
JLP
czech is the home of the pilsner. I like Staropramen or Budvar. yup -- tasty and fairly easy to get in Quebec is Pilsner Urquell
