Prime Minister Koivu
I really hope this shuts up all the people who have been bitching about A. #### being a bust. Granted, one game does not make a career, but he's really showing what he can do given the opportunity. He was fantastic tonight. I hope when Kovy gets back he is on the 4th line again. Higgins - Plekanec - Kostitsyn is a keeper line.
twilighthours
You guys should know that I got home and flicked on the game... 2-0 Isles. Habs went on to outscore them 5-1.... it must be all because of me. Seriously, tonight the team did not miss Kovalev or Samsonov at all. Kostitsyn, Plex, Higgins, Latendresse give me (some) hope for the future.

Nesquik
Kosty did one of the sexiest passes i've seen, today, the young players made the difference. Good game by Lats, I was laughing the way he was playing during the last minutes of the game with a pulled goalie.... He so wanted that hat trick lol... What I really like about that line is that it has everything. Who will go to the net for rebounds/screening? Higgins. Who can score from anywhere in the offensive zone? All three. Who can be the playmaker? Pleks and ####. Who can be defensively responsible? Higgins and Pleks. Who can be gritty and throw hits? Higgins. Who can wear the turtleneck? Pleks. BCHabnut
I honestly thought that #### should have been first star. Holy nice passes!!
Bullsmith
Kosty is here to stay, Pleks is showing why he deserves Ribiero's ice time, Guillaume is showing why he deserves to be in the NHL. Lapierre etc. The future is starting to arrive, and it's looking good. Kudos to Carbo. The team was firing from the opening face off tonight. Even when we were down two nothing, we were taking it to the Isels. Great, gutsy performance.

Kosty, Koviu, Souray with assists... dare I say we maybe getting a sneak peak at the future line up of our beloved habs... and although I will take a moment and say YAAA WHOOO! we won and kept the hope alive... I will say that we are not by any means out of trouble yet. This is a good win for a team with a good effort. Keep it up boyz! Absolutely loved watching the game tonight. and all keep this rant short by finally saying... WOW! what a brilliant pass by Kosty! maybe his younger brother is finally rubbing off on him.. Always knew he had it in him... can he put a few more games together and bring it on! go habs go! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! I didn't even see that and I was watching the camera from behind and he pulls it out of nowhere. EYES IN THE BACK OF HIS HEAD Use the Kids for the rest of the year please Carbo. Let's see if they are ready for primetime! They sure as hell looked it tonight Edited March 14, 2007 by Wamsley01
JMMR
Wow that was impressive. I know hindsight is 20/20 but could you imagine if Kostitsyn was here all year instead of Samsonov. Koivu had kind of a rough game but I just think he was trying to do to much Kovalev stuff tonight on the power play. Aebischer stopped all 6 shots the Habs allowed in the third, good work by the Habs for limiting the shots and Abby keeping the Habs in the game, I know he was out of position a few times but he really played well except the penalty shot. tommy9
OMIGOD! It's TOMMY! ... yep! Still alive :-). BTW, very nice 3rd. period - like the last season. Cardiac Habs! :D Pleky with +3 and another two points tonite - well done! Be best player of the very first game this calendar year (and at Bell Centre) was good sign for him ... So, good night to you & all habs fans ! It´s little late here in Pleky´s hometown ...

Quebecois
Productive night. The Rags lose, Isles lose, stay even with Canes and Leafs. Really had to have that win going into the third, otherwise we'd be 4 out with teams in between. if we agree Kost sticks on that second line, what do we do with Kovy when he comes back? Should be interesting to see the lineup for Friday night.
