Habsfan24
I was at the game last Friday and it was not pretty. They better put on a far better performance that they did last week.
thib46
I was at the game last Friday and it was not pretty. They better put on a far better performance that they did last week. This will be a tough weekend, Buffalo is playing well now and a win over the Senators last time out. Montreal can still win these games but they need to be prepared for 60 minutes of hard hockey. MAK
we play twie in a row against them so lets not try to humiliate them today. keep that for saturday !!!
Helmethead
I think that these next two games might be the most important of the season. Win these two, and u find urself breathing down the neck of the Senators... Lose them and u risk resurecting the wounded Buffalo.. They've won 2 straight, winning two more would do wonders to their ego. We need to prove to the league that we have the killer instinct. Beating Buffalo twice would further prove to the league that we are legitimate contenders and a force to be reckoned with. I am more concerned about beating the teams that are below us in the standings, thus further distancing ourselves from them than beating Ottawa for example. I'm expecting a huge game from Pleks...and my boy, Kostosouvlaki...don't ask me why... :hlogo: GO Habs GO :hlogo:
lazy26
I think we'll be better prepared for Buffalo this time around, considering how burned we got last time. It should make for an interesting weekend anyway. I expect a few from Higgins tonight. GO HABS GO!!!

Familia
heheh... kostosouvlaki... that is an AWESOME nickname... i'm guessing im not the only one who's loving kostopolous on this team? I know he's not the best fighter but man he sure brings some passion and energy (and short handed goals)

ShortHanded
I like Kostosouvlaki A LOT, but I really hope Carbo doesn't use him in situations where I don't think he has the talent to be used. There's no questioning his work ethic and his effort, and you can't blame the guy if he's used improperly, but I don't htink he belongs on the first line or on the PP. Luckily, I think Carbo saw that the First line with Kosto experiment was a failure and hopefully he won't be there again. I like his work on the fourth and on the PK a lot though... markierung
would it be such a bad idea to try Grabovski on the first with higgins and koivu if it continues to be a disaster with ryder
MAK
would it be such a bad idea to try Grabovski on the first with higgins and koivu if it continues to be a disaster with ryder could be a quick fix but grabovski isn't nhl caliber, he's out muscled too often. JMMR
would it be such a bad idea to try Grabovski on the first with higgins and koivu if it continues to be a disaster with ryder Ryder has been shooting a lot more and looking much better out there. I hope he can start sccoring soon but his last 3 games he has looked dangerous. I hope the habs can win these two games and lock the season series win in November. Easy Ryder
There is no problem with line 1 we have 1a and 1b I think Kovy line his the first line a and Koivu first line b. Every game Kovy gets more ice time than Koivu line. AK46 will soon have more points than Ryder. And depending on the game we have a third line a and a third line b. That is when(often) Chipchura is playing better than Smolinski.

Why Ryder continues to get first PP unit time baffles me....valuable seconds are wasted when Ryder is out there screwing up and Kovalev is sitting on the bench.
