GHT120
While he is now an OA-20-yr-old, he had a BREAK-OUT season as a 19 yr-old (64gm, 42g, 47a ... after 19g, 20a in his previous 130 WHL games) which is what got him drafted.

Maybe harder overall ... but Seattle is 9-0-0 so far, and scoring six goals a game (admittedly only three players in the WHL with 2+ goals/game at the moment). Always nice to see prospects doing well, but let's see how sustainable this pace is.

Very true ... but he is 2nd in points and 3rd in goals*, so not a passenger * - He is tied for 3rd with 6 but I break the tie because JD has played one less game. DON
https://chl.ca/article/chltv-gotw-preview-titan-vs-olympiques-oct-29-2022 Who to watch Last season, Riley Kidney (MTL) became just the eighth different player in Titan history to reach 100 points in a season. So far in 2022-23, he’s tracking towards doing it again. The 63rd overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft has five goals and 18 points in 13 games. His 189 points rank 10th all-time and he is just 11 points away from the 200 plateau in his career. Kidney’s 57 shots this year rank third while his 160 faceoff wins place him in a three-way tie for the second most in the Q.

Hopefully not just fortune. This Hutson quote made me quite happy: ”One thing I took away from our time together was the timing of plays and the development of plays, and how to create space for yourself. When I watch video now, I'm seeing the things that Adam was stressing when I was in Montreal in the summer.”
tomh009
Vrbetic has a .898 save percentage after three games. Doesn't seem very high, but it's in the top 10 of ECHL goalies with three or more games so maybe respectable. Will be interesting to see how he develops over the course of the season.

Is it really harder? it used to be... but now the goals per game across the three CAS leagues don't show a lot of difference.
