Coincidence ?

No matter how much he scores, that's just something we have to accept. I doubt it changes.

DON
Wonder what they thought of Bogdan... too small & slow? Is his nose out of joint with all the Demidov hype? Ivan Demidov isn't the only player Canadiens' front office is watching in Russia “There is no specific development plan. Two or three months ago, they wrote me and asked how I was doing. They also sent video clips of one NHL defenseman playing,” said Konyushov when asked about his relationship with the Habs in an interview with RG.org. “Other than that, there was no communication. I don't have such close communication with them as with Ivan Demidov.”

tomh009
Another sub-10-minute TOI, another goal for Demidov ... 24 points in 37 games, at about 11 minutes/game. For comparison, Michkov scored 41 points in 47 games, but that was playing over 17 minutes per game--and on the Sochi top line, if I recall correctly. I've given up paying any attention to the BS the coach is putting him through ... it is a mix of stupidity and KHL "politics" that is what it is. dlbalr
Bergqvist played over 15 minutes and scored for Sweden. I thought he'd have a very limited role in this tournament but he started on the top pair with Sandin Pellikka (they play on the same team in the SHL).
