Only 2:36 TOI in the third period? 😮

Maybe they are taking an in-game load management approach à la Pat Verbeek and Carlsson ? 🤷‍♂️😆

He’s the only GM with “beek” in his name and he is the GM for the Ducks. Coincidence ?

He got less than 10 minutes in the game..... i mean SKA just isn't going to give him big minutes, especially in close games.  No matter how much he scores, that's just something we have to accept.  I doubt it changes.

Wonder what they thought of Bogdan... too small & slow?

Is his nose out of joint with all the Demidov hype?

Ivan Demidov isn't the only player Canadiens' front office is watching in Russia

“There is no specific development plan. Two or three months ago, they wrote me and asked how I was doing. They also sent video clips of one NHL defenseman playing,” said Konyushov when asked about his relationship with the Habs in an interview with RG.org. “Other than that, there was no communication. I don't have such close communication with them as with Ivan Demidov.”

Bergqvist 2g in 2 pre-tourny games, after quiet offensive season so far.

Another sub-10-minute TOI, another goal for Demidov ...

24 points in 37 games, at about 11 minutes/game. For comparison, Michkov scored 41 points in 47 games, but that was playing over 17 minutes per game--and on the Sochi top line, if I recall correctly.

I've given up paying any attention to the BS the coach is putting him through ... it is a mix of stupidity and KHL "politics" that is what it is.

Or just more semi-normal rookie treatment for a 1 year KHL player.

Hey, at least he isnt a healthy scratch or playing in the VHL or MHL.

Its as if the more ice time Demidov gets, the more points he puts on the board.

And maybe Rottenberg hasnt hurt his development and Demidov will see more 1st line minutes, 30 more league games for him to play.

"2024-2025 schedule: the longest regular season in the league’s history

KHL.ru presents the schedule for the 2024-2025 Fonbet KHL regular season. Teams will play 68 games each, and the total number of game days will be a record 187. From the Opening Cup game to the first break, teams will have 97 consecutive game days..."

KHL season ends March 23rd

KHL playoffs end May 25

Bergqvist 0pts in 8-1 Sweden win, he had some soft giveaways in both games so far.

Thorpe 2a

Volokin 5g on 42 shots (vs Demidov)
