Trizzak
Okay guys, we've all been a bit negative about the team around here so I'm gonna try to start this GDT as upbeat as possible. The time for a big playoff push is now! Even though the Habs need a lot of points to get there, And their two best players are now injured, plus Many of the fans have thrown in the towel. These are trying times, but if we All cheer loud and proud for the Habs it's Not impossible for a comeback that starts tonight! Keep the faith, and Go Dahlin Habs Go!

Odder things have happened. We have to win some time. All we have to do is believe. You can say all that again! Great GDT friend..

Call up the kids, ignore scoreboard and play out the last few weeks, cept we have 2 more months of pain. Give lots of icetime to Galchenyuk-Drouin-Scherbak-Lehkonen-Hudon-Carr-delaRose-Mete-Juulsen

I enjoy writing these, I do so with enthusiasm, and dlbalr is best poster - no equal, everyone loves dlbalr! 2

We appreciate the hard work All of us could learn something from it. Sitting here and admiring the effort So, the rest of us totally believe you. Even in my wildest dreams, I wouldn't bet on dlblair to hurt you Never could i imagine such a scenario. Tonight the Habs will win in your honour. 2

xXx..CK..xXx
I agree that the effort was astounding My expectations are also that the the Habs will win Coincidently I happen to be in your area today Organizing a get together over the internet is far fetched though Maybe sometime in the future we could attend a game In the mean time I’ll just keep watching on TV No better promise that the Habs will continue their other streak Go on now, enjoy the rest of your day
DON
Reusch note: In The Tank – ….The Canadiens are in a three-way tie with Edmonton and Ottawa, each with 52 points after 59 games. ….Regular & overtime wins is the tiebreaker. The Oilers have 22 for 27th place overall. The Canadiens are 28th (fourth in the draft lottery) with 20 ROW; Ottawa 29th with 19 non-shootout wins. ….Currently Arizona and Buffalo are 1-2 in the draft lottery race. Buffalo trails the Canadiens by 7 points and Arizona by eight.
illWill
Are those poems? They don't rhyme Maybe I'm not smart enough, or don't have the time This may be the strangest game day thread that I've read And this Habs game will surely make me lay my head on my bed Price is out and Weber is done for the season I wish I could be excited, but I have no reason We are passionate fans and deserve much more Than a team with no direction and the ability to score So now we must put up with a terrible ranking And hope they at least don't screw up on the tanking
dlbalr
Nice job, Trizz. Niemi gets the start while Juulsen will make his NHL debut. Rick Nash and Michael Grabner will also be out for the Rangers as the team gets closer to trading them.

Reminder that the Rangers, shutting down players as they are pronounced sellers, have a seven point advantage on the Canadiens who are "still going for it"
Trizzak
I wouldn't be shocked to see a win tonight, and not just because the Rangers management might start sniping players from the rafters if they score too many goals. Habs are due. One win won't hurt too badly. Tampa is here Saturday to send us back to a losing streak. But perhaps The Tank will roll on tonight... Trizzak
So Pleks scored. Good for him, I guess. The Rangers look really bad, which is saying something because the Habs don't actually look good either.
Habopotamus
Drouin turns the puck over so god damn much

dlbalr
Juulsen has certainly been active tonight. I like what I've seen from him so far.
Habopotamus
Beauty pass.... Julien needs to have a little sit down with these guys between periods. Playing well is not an option
sbhatt
A two goal lead against a bad team, with tons of momentum and only one period left to play....I am getting nervous that the tank is off track this evening.

Metallica
They were talking about the habs Apparently Bergevin is looking for young roster players not picks or prospects in any trade for Pacioretty.
Commandant
The Rangers are tanking harder than we are with this lineup.

dlbalr
It's weird, Mete was on the top pairing with Petry, played a regular role on the power play and penalty kill, and still wound up with less ice time than Morrow. Alzner had the lowest of any blueliner, something that is certainly interesting. He and Juulsen made for a decent pairing.
