Popular Post Neech
A special All Saints Day edition of Habs hockey sees the Caps in town. Noted Saint Alexander Ovechkin has presumably not indulged in any of the Seven Deadly Sins since his summer of debauchery. Saint Lars Eller is so Christ-like and committed to non-violence that he allowed himself to be pummelled by the imp Marchand without retaliating in the slightest. On the Habs side, Saint Max Domi has never once let his baser impulses get the best of him. Saint Brendan Gallagher always maintains a cheerful disposition even when faced with the worst slings and arrows of the unbelievers. Captain of the Saints Shea Weber is absent while he convalesces from an injury comparable to that of Saint Denis: And of course, on a plane higher and more exalted (and better compensated) than all the Saints, we have in goal our one true saviour, Jesus Price. Note: the cast of apostles may have changed significantly since this picture, perhaps along with our faith in our saviour's saving abilities. Nevertheless, in our faith we find strength. Puck drop at 7:30. 2

Habs owned the 70's
Lol @ the Jesus Price image. Therrien is like 'Oh help me mighty Jesus..only you can save me', Bergevin looks completely f'ed up and regretful and Subban is thinking "i'm so good and holy, surely no one will trade me" and Saint Gallagher has mastered the christian philosophy of turning the other cheek. alfredoh2009
I like Oullet's game on the 3rd pair. Surprising how well he fits there the Fin-line is fun to watch. Kotka is just soaring out there. He will be really good. the CH played well that period and Hudson has not looked out of place so far after one period
Trizzak
Just wanted to remind everyone that Brendan Gallagher makes 3.75 million per season.

Just reaching his prime. He is honestly reaching Marchand levels right now, what an amazing player he is becoming.

Nine goals in 12 games so far, that's pretty damn good value. Realistically ... well, let's hope he can play as strongly all season, even if the scoring pace is bound to drop off. Scott462
Price not getting any help but come on man. Probably gets pulled if another one goes in.
Habopotamus
I wouldnt mind seeing Drouin get traded in some type of package for a top 4 d-man
Chris
Price? He didnt let in any soft ones. The defensive zone is just awful. They run around, never take the body, turn over the puck and don't win battles. They are playing with 5 bottom pair defenseman, The good news is they are much more exciting to watch. The same kind of second-period letdown we have already seen a few times this year.
Chris
So if Price was making less money the 4 goals that he couldnt stop are somehow better? Drouin and most of the D aren;t earning there money either
Scott462
The defence is a complete gong show again, they need Weber back desperately. Petry is just not good enough defensively to hold down the fort but he’s doing a commendable job. Juulsen also having a real tough time.
