TurdBurglar
The Montreal Canadiens acquired forward Jacob Perreault from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for forward Jan Mysak. As per TSN. Looks like a 1-for-1.

Perreault is younger and did more at the AHL level. Not sure hes NHL quality but think hes better than Mysak.

I seem to remember that you had Mysak as a fringe 1st rounder at the time and that you were excited about this pick. Sucks that it didn't pan out. alfredoh2009
I liked Mysak, he has made lots of progress this season. Easily the most improved player this season IMHO Let’s hope Perrault performs in the push for the playoffs

They get the guy at the more premium position and might have been looking at his usage in Laval (strict 4C) and figuring that a bigger role could get him going.

Hes seemed to become a bottom six AHL guy too.

Perreault may be stagnating for them in the AHL and they want to see if Mysak takes off with a change of scenery.
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
I hadn’t realized that Jacob is Yannick Perreault’s son. Now that takes me back…
