If its not icing, maybe a fast winger like Byron, Evans, Lehkonen on the outside of the circle, so he can disrupt the defenseman. I'm sure they're practicing this today. The nice thing is that it's a set play which can be countered with practice.
Thought was Chiarot, but irrelevent and am sure Price was rolling his eyes a minute later when they scored.
Anyways, a win is a win and basically is all gravy since defeating the evil empire in the 1st round.
Whew!
But, in the end, a win is a win, and Price is part of the team. We are in the series, baby!
Kudos to Yvonne's assistants for the support tonight!
Jeez eh, am I the only thinking that the style Vegas is playing looks crazy dangerous? I dont mean for the Habs either. With the way Vegas is playing it looks like the Habs should be able to return to their play in the 1st 7 games of the season. The Habs just need to start counter attacking by doing fast break out passes.
Not trying to be overly critical but I don't think Toffoli has played all that well at times in the playoffs. Yet here he is with an eight-game point streak. Talk about making an impact even if you're not overly noticeable.
Goal Caufield is turning out to be a pretty good playmaker. I guess USA audiences would prefer that fake fan noise in this game😁. Pretty damn quiet for a playoff game!
Nice pressure by the Habs
hipe they continue playing this well
Suzuki and Danault are on their game
Peteu seems to be ok so far. No slap shots just wristlets, but good plays to create chances
