lazy26
Oh, By the way. In case some of you had forgotten. After game 2, Kris Letang had said that if this series weent to seven games, they would beat us and crush us so badley, that we would have nothiing left in the tank. To Kris Letang I say: Screw you, you arrogant basatard! You didn't think the Habs coulod beat you! Eat some crow! Letang was honestly the Penguin I grew to hate the most this series. What an idiot. They pay you to play hockey, not talk.
Habsfan
Damn, Boston just scored with 58 seconds to go! Go Flyers, take this series to 7 games!
Toronthab
Ya, no matter who the Habs face theres definitely going to be fights next round. dlbalr's right aboot the pics. The Habs better win the Cup this year because either way a lot of players will want big raises so they might as well go all the way. Thats why having Cammy and Gio already locked up for years is looking great right now. Not sure aboot you but I could definitely get used to this. So awesome too, its 09/10 season so that another reason why they must win it all, its the last year to continue the tradition of wining every decade. Here we are....us ..... talking about winning the Stanley Cup this year !! Us! This Year! The Stanley Cup!! WHaaaaaaT!
Habsfan
Letang was honestly the Penguin I grew to hate the most this series. What an idiot. They pay you to play hockey, not talk. Agreed. It sounded so arrogant on his behalf.
Wamsley01
Come on philly.. hang on.. we need the rest. I don't know who to cheer for in Game 7. Boston has nobody who can score, but strong goaltending. Philly has strong forwards and D, but no goaltending.
BTH
What has Letang said? And is there a place to see that Crosby interview yet?
brobin
way to go philly.. we get some time for markov to hang out in the hyperbaric chamber.
lazy26
Agreed. It sounded so arrogant on his behalf. Don't forget the jedi-mind trick fail before the series started when Letang tried to pass the Penguins off as the underdogs lol.
brobin
I am leaning towards Philly, just because Rask can dominate, but either way I hope they beat the crap out of each other in game 7. Oh, and losing to Boston will kill me. Not sure I can take the pressure again. I don't know who to cheer for in Game 7. Boston has nobody who can score, but strong goaltending. Philly has strong forwards and D, but no goaltending.

The Chicoutimi Cucumber
I don't know who to cheer for in Game 7. Boston has nobody who can score, but strong goaltending. Philly has strong forwards and D, but no goaltending. It feels like bad karma to want opponent X or Y at this stage. But if I had to analyze it, I would say that the Habs' entire game plan has been based on opportunistic scoring and that it's a lot easier to achieve that when the opposing goalie is weak. On that basis, I'd want Philly. And do you really want Lucic in the semi-finals? But either of those teams is gonna be tough. Sir_Boagalott
Damn, Boston just scored with 58 seconds to go! Go Flyers, take this series to 7 games! Ya, I want that series to go to 7, but I want Boston to win that series. Price and Philly dont mix, + I think Philly is more dirty in general so theres more of a chance of Halak being hurt and Price playing. Price has beat Boston, the Habs almost do evrey time so why wouldnt you want Boston.

brobin
Remember all that analysis about how Pitts plays a complete game, too many weapons, cup champs.. while the Caps were just Ovie and offense... This series was easier imo. Fleury made theo look good.
sakiqc
I think this is the first season of the next decade. 1990-99. 2000-2009. 2010-2019 etc. But we are in season 2009-2010, not in 2010-2011. (does it still count?)

I thought the Pens would get dirtier, but as the series progressed the Habs lower two lines dominated the Pens more hyped grinders. Pleks was outstanding in the series, I don't care if he didn't score much. To win the Cup they are going to need the corpses of AK and Pouliot to awaken. But we are in season 2009-2010, not in 2010-2011. (does it still count?) Don't think so, but let's make our own rules

The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Pittsburgh might want to consider moving Staal and getting some wingers. Just a thought. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Still can't believe it. :hlogo: :hlogo:

I`m pretty sure 99-00 was the last of last century, this is the 1st decade of the new century. The Canadiens are listed as 1993 Stanley Cup Champions. They won it in the 92-93 season. So this season will be the 2010 Champion. 10 season span is a decade, so 00,01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09. We can claim technicality due to the lost season of 05. I`m pretty sure 99-00 was the last of last century, this is the 1st decade of the new century. 99-00 counts as last decade. We count the year in which the Cup was awarded. The 2010 champs will be the winners of the 2009-2010 season, just as the 2010 Oscar winners will be the movies from 2009 (because the awards are only in January). This season is the first year of a new decade. But if it makes you feel better, I think this year is Montreal's 100th season.
